Junoon Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was a Hindi remake of the 1981 Hollywood film “An American Werewolf in London”.
2) After the release of this film, Deepak Parashar was very angry with Mahesh Bhatt and Rahul Roy. He said that he and the Ramsay Brothers were about to remake this film. Deepak Parashar also gave a trial wearing Wolf’s costume, but due to some reason Ramsay Brothers this film was delayed. Then Mahesh Bhatt had the idea to remake .
3) Mahesh Bhatt first wanted to cast Kamal Sadanah in this film. But nothing worked out and in the end Mahesh Bhatt took Rahul Roy.
4) Before Avinash Wadhawan, Mahesh Bhatt wanted to cast Deepak Malhotra in this film. But Yash Chopra had asked Deepak Malhotra to stay away from this film. That’s why he refused to work in this film.
5) Morphing special effects were used in this film, in which one face is changed into another.

जूनून फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म सन 1981 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म ” एन अमेरिकन वेयरवोल्फ इन लंदन ” की हिंदी रीमेक थी.
2) इस फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के बाद दीपक पराशर महेश भट्ट और राहुल रॉय से बहुत गुस्सा हुए थे. उनका कहना था की वे और रामसे ब्रदर्स इस फिल्म का रीमेक बनाने वाले थे. दीपक पराशर ने वुल्फ की कॉस्ट्यूम पहन कर भी ट्रायल दिया लेकिन कुछ कारण से रामसे ब्रदर्स की ये फिल्म डिले हो गयी थी. तभी महेश भट्ट को रीमेक बनाने का आईडिया था.
3) महेश भट्ट इस फिल्म में पहले कमल सदानाह को लेना चाहते थे. लेकिन कुछ बात नहीं बनी और अंत में महेश भट्ट ने राहुल रॉय को लिया था.
4) अविनाश वधावन से पहले महेश भट्ट इस फिल्म में दीपक मल्होत्रा को लेना चाहते थे. लेकिन यश चोपड़ा ने दीपक मल्होत्रा को इस फिल्म से दूर रहने को कहा था. इसलिए उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
5) इस फिल्म में मॉर्फिंग स्पेशल इफेक्ट्स का इस्तमाल किया गया था जिसमे एक चेहरे को दूसरे चेहरे में बदला जाता है.
