Shola Aur Shabnam Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was going to be the debut film of Divya Bharti. The producer of this film, Pahlaj Nihalani had talked to the director of Vishwatma film Rajiv Rai to let his film Shola and Shabnam be released first and Rajiv Rai agreed. But due to some censor problem, this film got delayed and Vishwatma film was released earlier and this film became Divya Bharti’s debut film.
2) In this film, Anupam Kher was shown to be a diehard fan of Sridevi while both were very good friends in real life.
3) This film was the first film of Govinda and Divya Bharti together. After this both of them also worked together in the film “Jaan Se Pyara” which was released in May 1992 in the same year.
4) Mohnish Bahl’s mother Nutan died during the film’s Ooty Schedule. Due to which he left the shooting and came back home.
5) The title of this film was earlier kept as “Khiladi”. But the rights of these titles were already taken by the people of Venus. Hence the title of this film was changed to “Shola Aur Shabnam”.
6) Juhi Chawla was first to be signed in this film. But Divya Bharti was signed in this film only at the behest of Govinda.
7) Govinda made his singing debut with this film. He sang the song “Gori Gori O Banke Chhori” in this film and he also wrote the lyrics himself.
8) The role of lead actress in this film was first offered to Karisma Kapoor. But she refused to work in this film.
9) This was the only film of Divya Bharti in which her character’s name was also Divya.
10) This film proved to be the turning point for both Govinda and Divya Bharti. The role of both was highly appreciated.
शोला और शबनम फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म दिव्या भारती की डेब्यू फिल्म होने वाली थी. इस फिल्म के प्रोडूसर पहलाज निहलानी ने विश्वात्मा फिल्म के डायरेक्टर राजीव राय से बात की थी की उनकी फिल्म शोला और शबनम को पहले रिलीज़ होने दें और राजीव राय मान गए थे. लेकिन कुछ सेंसर प्रॉब्लम के चलते ये फिल्म डिले हो गयी थी और विश्वात्मा फिल्म पहले रिलीज़ हो गयी थी और यही फिल्म ही दिव्या भारती की डेब्यू फिल्म बन गयी थी.
2) इस फिल्म में अनुपम खेर को श्रीदेवी का डाईहार्ड फैन दिखाया गया था जबकि रियल लिफ़ में दोनों बहुत अच्छे दोस्त थे.
3) ये फिल्म गोविंदा और दिव्या भारती की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों ने साथ में ” जान से प्यारा ” फिल्म में भी काम किया था जो उसी साल ही सन 1992 में मई में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
4) इस फिल्म के ऊटी सेडुल के दौरान मोहनीश बहल की माँ नूतन की मौत हो गयी थी. जिसके कारण वे शूटिंग छोड़ के वापस घर आ गए थे.
5) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले ” खिलाड़ी ” रखा गया था. लेकिन ये टाइटल के राइट्स पहले ही वीनस वालों ने ले लिए थे. इसलिए इस फिल्म का टाइटल बदलकर ” शोला और शबनम ” कर दिया गया था.
6) इस फिल्म में पहले जूही चावला को साइन किया जाने वाला था. लेकिन गोविंदा के कहने पर ही इस फिल्म में दिव्या भारती को साइन किया गया था.
7) इस फिल्म से गोविंदा ने अपना सिंगिंग डेब्यू किया था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म में ” गोरी गोरी ओ बांके छोरी ” गाना गाया था और उन्होंने इसके लिरिक्स भी खुद लिखे थे.
8) इस फिल्म में लीड एक्ट्रेस का रोल सबसे पहले करिश्मा कपूर को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
9) ये दिव्या भारती की एकमात्र फिल्म थी जिसमे उनके करैक्टर का नाम भी दिव्या था.
