Purana Mandir Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The ghostly mansion was shown in this film and that mansion is located in Murud Janjira, a village in Maharashtra and the mansion is named as Nawab Palace.
2) Laawaris film was re-released at a theater in Delhi in 1984 and Purana Mandir was also released. But the public crowd was more in the Purana Mandir film than in Amitabh Bachchan’s film Laawaris.
3) This film was Anirudh Aggarwal’s debut film and gained a lot of popularity after this film. People came to know him by the name of Samri.
4) The entire shooting of this film was already done. All the scenes of the Samri were left out. Because Ramsay Brothers could not find any good actor for the role of Samri. Then one day Anirudh Aggarwal went to Ramsay’s office with a friend and at the same time, Ramsay Brothers selected Anirudh Agarwal for the role of Samari.
5) The famous horror music of Ramsay Brothers films was composed for the first time for the Purana Mandir film.
6) In this film, Anirudh Agarwal played the role of Samri and his character was so popular that Ramsay Brothers also made a film with the same name in 1985.
पुराना मंदिर फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें :
1) इस फिल्म में जो भूतिया हवेली दिखाई गयी थी. वो हवेली महाराष्ट्र के एक गाँव मुरुद जंजीरा में स्थित है और उस हवेली का नाम नवाब पैलेस है.
2) सन 1984 में दिल्ली के एक थिएटर में लावारिस फिल्म को फिर से रिलीज़ किया गया था और साथ ही पुराना मंदिर को भी रिलीज़ किया गया था. लेकिन पब्लिक की भीड़ अमिताभ बच्चन की फिल्म लावारिस में होने की बजाय पुराना मंदिर फिल्म में ज्यादा थी.
3) ये फिल्म अनिरुद्ध अग्रवाल के डेब्यू फिल्म थी और इस फिल्म के बाद उन्हें काफी लोकप्रियता मिली थी. लोग उन्हें सामरी के नाम से जानने लगे थे.
4) इस फिल्म की पूरी शूटिंग को पहले ही कर लिए गया था. बस सामरी के जितने भी सीन्स थे उन्हें छोड़ दिया गया था. क्योंकि रामसे ब्रदर्स को कोई अच्छा एक्टर नहीं मिल पाया था सामरी के रोल के लिए. फिर एक दिन अनिरुद्ध अग्रवाल अपने एक दोस्त के साथ रामसे के ऑफिस में गए थे और वहीँ पर रामसे ब्रदर्स ने अनिरुद्ध अग्रवाल को सामरी के रोल के लिए चुन लिए था.
5) रामसे ब्रदर्स की फिल्मो का जो फेमस हॉरर म्यूजिक है उस म्यूजिक को पहले बार पुराना मंदिर फिल्म के लिए ही कंपोज़ किया गया था.
6) इस फिल्म में अनिरुद्ध अग्रवाल ने सामरी का रोल निभाया था और उनका ये करैक्टर इतना पॉपुलर हुआ था की रामसे ब्रदर्स ने इसी नाम से 1985 में एक फिल्म भी बनायीं थी.
