1) The remake of the song “Har Kisi Ko Nahin Milta” was later done in Akshay Kumar’s film Boss. So the remake of the song “Pyaar Do Pyaar Lo” was also done in Akshay Kumar’s film “Thank You”.
2) This film was inspired by the 1946 Hollywood film ‘Duel in the Sun’.
3) The night when mashaal movie premiered. On the same night, Anil Kapoor signed 2 films. First film was meri jung and second was janbaaz.
4) Feroz Khan signed Sridevi in this film only on the instructions of the distributors. When Feroz Khan offered this film to Sridevi, she was not agreed for this film. Then Feroz Khan spoke to him in Tamil, which influenced Sridevi, and then she signed the film.
5) In this film, Kader Khan was to play the role of villain and also to write dialogues for this film. But later he left the film for some reason. Then he was replaced by Raz Murad for Villain. So Madan Joshi was taken for the dialogues writer.
6) The film was directed and produced by Feroz Khan, along with the editing of the film itself.
7) In this film, Rekha performed an item song in the song “Pyaar Do Pyaar Lo”.

1) इस फिल्म का ” हर किसी को नहीं मिलता प्यार ” वाले गाने का रीमेक बाद में अक्षय कुमार की फिल्म बॉस में किया गया था. तो ” प्यार दो प्यार लो ” वाले गाने का रीमेक भी अक्षय कुमार की ही फिल्म ” थैंक यू ” में किया गया था.
2) ये फिल्म सन 1946 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म ‘ डुएल इन द सन ‘ से प्रेरित थी.
3) जिस रात को मशाल फिल्म की प्रीमियर थी. उसी रात अनिल कपूर ने 2 फिल्मे साइन की थी. पहले मेरी जंग और दूसरा ये जंबाज.
4) डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर्स के कहने पर ही फिरोज खान ने इस फिल्म में श्रीदेवी को साइन किया था. फिरोज खान ने जब इस फिल्म का ऑफर श्रीदेवी को दिया था तब वे शुरू में राजी नहीं हुयी थी. फिर फिरोज खान ने उनसे तमिल में यही बात बोली थी जिससे श्रीदेवी इम्प्रेस हो गयी थी, और उन्होंने फिर ये फिल्म साइन कर ली थी.
5) इस फिल्म में कदर खान विलेन का रोल निभाने वाले थे और साथ ही इस फिल्म के लिए डायलॉग्स भी लिखने वाले थे. लेकिन कुछ कारण से बाद में वे इस फिल्म से हट गए थे. फिर उनकी जगह विलेन के लिए राजा मुराद को लिया गया था. तो डायलॉग्स के लिए मदन जोशी को लिया गया था.
