Gumnaam Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The story of this film was based on the mystery novel ” And Then There Were None ” in 1939.
2) For this film, Mehmood was paid more than Manoj Kumar and Nanda. Due to this, there was a sourness between Manoj Kumar and Mehmood.
3) The opening scene of the 2001 Hollywood film Ghost World featured footage of the song “Jaan Pehchan Ho” from the film gumnaam.
4) The shooting of this film started in April 1964 and ended in January 1965. While the shooting of this film was to end by November. The shooting of this film was delayed due to Nanda, Pran and Helen. Because all of them were busy shooting for the rest of their films and they were not able to give time for this film.
5) Manoj Kumar wanted to removed Mehmood’s song “Hum Kale Hain To Kya Hua Dilwale Hai” from this film. The director had agreed to him but in the end the song was put back in the film and the song was also a big hit.
गुमनाम फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in HIndi ) :
1) इस फिल्म की कहानी सन 1939 में आयी मिस्ट्री नावेल ” एंड देन देयर वेयर नॉन ” पर आधारित थी.
2) इस फिल्म के लिए मेहमूद को मनोज कुमार और नंदा से भी ज्यादा फीस मिली थी. जिसके चलते मनोज कुमार और मेहमूद के बीच खटास आ गयी थी.
3) सन 2001 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म घोस्ट वर्ल्ड के ओपनिंग सीन में गुमनाम फिल्म का ” जान पहचान हो ” वाले गाने का फुटेज दिखाया जाता है.
4) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग अप्रैल सन 1964 से शुरू हुयी थी और जनवरी सन 1965 में जाकर ख़त्म हुयी थी. जबकि इस फिल्म की शूटिंग को नवंबर तक ख़त्म होना था. नंदा, प्राण और हेलन के कारण ही इस फिल्म की शूटिंग में देरी हुयी थी. क्योंकि वे सभी अपनी बाकी फिल्मो की शूटिंग में भी व्यस्त थे और वे इस फिल्म के लिए टाइम नहीं दे पा रहे थे.
5) मनोज कुमार इस फिल्म से मेहमूद का ” हम काले हैं तो क्या हुआ दिलवाले हैं ” वाला गाना हटवाना चाहते थे. डायरेक्टर उनकी बात मान भी गए थे लेकिन अंत में इस गाने को वापस फिल्म में रख लिया गया था और ये गाना बहुत हिट भी हुआ था.
