Dil Hi To Hai Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was second last film in Asrani’s direction. Earlier, he had directed four films. His last directorial venture after the film Dil Hi Toh Hai was Udaan which was released in 1997.
2) Jackie Shroff could not date this film. Due to which the film was being delayed. Then producers Sameer and Hanif told their underworld don Dawood Ibrahim to threaten Jackie Shroff. But then Dawood Ibrahim also had a good acquaintance with Jackie Shroff. So he refused the producers.
3) It was at the behest of producers Sameer and Hanif that Jackie Shroff attended the wedding of the daughter of the underworld gang member Tiger Memon. Some photos of Jackie Shroff and Tiger Memon from marriage were featured in magazines. Due to which there was a lot of controversy. Then later Jackie Shroff clarified in the media that he had gone to the marriage in producers’ request.
4) This film was the first film of Jackie Shroff and Divya Bharti together. After this, they also worked together in the film shatranj which was released in 1993, and the film was Divya Bharti’s last release.
5) This film was Jackie Shroff’s second double role film. Earlier, he also played a double role in the film Allah Rakha. Which was released in 1986.
दिल ही तो है फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म असरानी की डायरेक्शन में बनी सेकंड लास्ट फिल्म थी. इससे पहले उन्होंने चार फिल्मे डायरेक्ट की थी. दिल ही तो है फिल्म के बाद उनकी डायरेक्शन में बनी आखरी फिल्म उड़ान थी जो सन 1997 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
2) जैकी श्रॉफ इस फिल्म को डेट नहीं दे पा रहे थे. जिसके कारण फिल्म डिले हो रही थी. फिर प्रोडूसर्स समीर और हनीफ ने उनके अंडरवर्ल्ड डॉन दाऊद इब्राहिम को जैकी श्रॉफ को धमकाने को कहा था. लेकिन तब दाऊद इब्राहिम की जैकी श्रॉफ से भी अच्छी पहचान थी. इसलिए उन्होंने प्रोडूसर्स को मना कर दिया था.
3) प्रोडूसर्स समीर और हनीफ के कहने पर ही जैकी श्रॉफ ने अंडरवर्ल्ड गैंग के मेंबर टाइगर मेमोन की बेटी की शादी अटेंड की थी. शादी से जैकी श्रॉफ और टाइगर मेमोन की कुछ फोटोज मैगजीन्स में छपी थी. जिसके कारण बहुत कंट्रोवर्सी हुयी थी. फिर बाद में जैकी श्रॉफ ने मीडिया में सफाई देते हुए कहा था की वे शादी में प्रोडूसर्स के रिक्वेस्ट पर गए थे.
