1) This film was the first film of Rishi Kapoor and David Dhawan together. After this, both of them also worked in films like Eena Meena Deeka, Yarana and Yeh Hai Jalwa.
2) In this film, Rishi Kapoor played a double role for the fifth time. Earlier, he had also played double roles in the films Raja, Rahi Badal Gaye, Janam Janam and Banjaran. He played the role of Kishan Malhotra and Tony Braganza in the movie Bol Radha Bol. In which Tony Braganza was the villain.
3) This film was Rishi Kapoor’s last successful film as a lead actor.
