Ankhen Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The shooting of this film was done in many international locations. It was the first Hindi film to be shot in Beirut, Israel.
2) Ramanand Sagar’s spy thriller film “Farz”, which came out in 1967, earned hugely at the box office. So he once again made the spy thriller film “Aankhen” with the big budget.
3) This film was Ramanand Sagar’s first film to be shot outside India.
4) The film was first offered to Raaj kumar. After reading the script, he called his dog and asked him “Should I do this film?”, After which the dog did not respond. Then Rajkumar told Ramanand Sagar that even my dog does not want me to do this film.
5) Dharmendra stayed at the Carlton Hotel in Beirut while shooting for this film. This hotel was built in the year 1960. The hotel was demolished in 2008 due to a new project.
आँखें फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग को कई इंटरनेशनल लोकेशन में किये गए थे. ये पहली ऐसी हिंदी फिल्म थी जिसकी शूटिंग को इजराइल के बेरूत में किया गया था.
2) सन 1967 में आयी रामानंद सागर की स्पाई थ्रिलर फिल्म ” फ़र्ज़ ” ने बॉक्स ऑफिस में जमकर कमाई की थी. इसलिए उन्होंने फिर एक बार बिग बजट में स्पाई थ्रिलर फिल्म ” ऑंखें ” बनाई थी.
3) ये फिल्म रामानंद सागर की पहली फिल्म थी जिसकी शूटिंग को भारत से बहार किया गया था.
4) इस फिल्म का ऑफर पहले राजकुमार को हुआ था. स्क्रिप्ट पढ़ने के बाद उन्होंने अपने कुत्ते को बुलाया था और उससे पूछा था की क्या ” मुझे ये फिल्म करनी चाहिए ? ” जिसके बाद कुत्ते ने कोई रिस्पांस नहीं दिया. फिर राजकुमार ने रामानंद सागर से कहा था की मेरा कुत्ता भी नहीं चाहता की मैं ये फिल्म में काम करुँ.
5) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के समय धर्मेंद्र बेरूत के कार्लटन होटल में रुके थे. इस होटल को सन 1960 में बनाया गया था. सन 2008 में नए प्रोजेक्ट के चलते इस होटल को तोड़ दिया गया था.
