Ajay Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was the second film of Karisma Kapoor and Sunny Deol together. In the same year their another film jeet also released, which was a super hit at the box office.
2) Juhi Chawla was signed in this film before Karisma Kapoor. But for some reason, she later left the film.
3) Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol launched a film in 1991 with the title Ajay. The script of this film was written by Rajkumar Santoshi and this film was to be made in the production of Vijayta Films. But for some reason the film was delayed and then later the film was shelved. Rajkumar Santoshi later made a film pukar with that same scirpt with Anil Kapoor as a lead actor and without telling Sunny Deol. Pukar was released in the year 2000. When Sunny Deol came to know about this, he never worked with Rajkumar Santoshi again. Their last film was ghatak which was released in 1996. Sunny Deol had the rights to the Ajay title, so he gave this rights to Suneel Darshan.
4) Manmohan Singh was the first to direct this film. He also did some initial scenes direct. But Sunil Darshan was not happy with his direction. That is why Sunil Darshan had removed Manmohan Singh from this film and directed the film himself.
5) An intimate scene of Sunny Deol and Karisma Kapoor was removed from this film. Because the director thought that because of this scene, the family audience would not watch the film.
6) Rajkumar Santoshi wanted to take Meenakshi Seshadri first in the film in 1991. But Meenakshi Seshadri refused to act in this film. After Meenakshi Seshadri, Sridevi was cast in this film. But after the film was delayed, Sridevi also left the film. Then later this film was shelved.
7) Sunny Deol’s name in the film was Ajay and his real name is also Ajay Singh Deol.
8) This film was the only film with Sunny Deol and Reena Roy. But there was no scene of the two together in this film.
अजय फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म करिश्मा कपूर और सनी देओल की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. उसी साल ही दोनों की पहली फिल्म जीत आयी थी जो बॉक्स ऑफिस में सुपर हिट रही थी.
2) करिश्मा कपूर से पहले इस फिल्म में जूही चावला को साइन किया गया था. लेकिन कुछ कारण से बाद में वे इस फिल्म से हट गयी थी.
3) राजकुमार संतोषी और सनी देओल ने सन 1991 में अजय टाइटल से एक फिल्म लांच की थी. इस फिल्म की स्क्रिप्ट को राजकुमार संतोषी ने लिखी थी और ये फिल्म विजेता फिल्म्स के प्रोडक्शन में बनने वाली थी. लेकिन कुछ कारण से फिल्म डिले हो गयी थी और फिर बाद में ये फिल्म शेल्वेड भी हो गयी थी. इसी फिल्म के स्क्रिप्ट को लेकर राजकुमार संतोषी ने बाद में सनी देओल को बिना बताये ही अनिल कपूर को लेकर पुकार फिल्म बनायीं थी जो सन 2000 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी . जब सनी देओल को ये बात पता चली थी तो उन्होंने फिर कभी भी राजकुमार संतोषी के साथ काम नहीं किया. दोनों की आखरी फिल्म घातक थी जो सन 1996 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी. सनी देओल के पास अजय टाइटल के राइट्स थे तो उन्होंने इस राइट्स को सुनील दर्शन को दे दिए थे.
4) इस फिल्म को पहले मनमोहन सिंह डायरेक्ट करने वाले थे. उन्होंने शुरू के कुछ सीन्स डायरेक्ट भी किये थे. लेकिन सुनील दर्शन उनके डायरेक्शन से खुश नहीं थे. इसलिए सुनील दर्शन ने मनमोहन सिंह को इस फिल्म से हटाकर खुद ही ये फिल्म डायरेक्ट किया था.
5) इस फिल्म से सनी देओल और करिश्मा कपूर का एक इंटिमेट सीन हटा दिया गया था. क्योंकि डायरेक्टर को लगा था की ये सीन को रखने से फॅमिली ऑडियंस फिल्म देखने काम आएंगी.
6) राजकुमार संतोषी सन 1991 में इस फिल्म में सबसे पहले मिनाक्षी शेषाद्रि को लेना चाहते थे. लेकिन मिनाक्षी शेषाद्रि ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. फिर उनके बाद इस फिल्म में श्रीदेवी को लिया गया था. लेकिन फिल्म डिले होने के बाद श्रीदेवी भी इस फिल्म से हट गयी थी. फिर बाद में ये फिल्म शेल्वेड हो गयी थी.
7) इस फिल्म में सनी देओल का नाम अजय था और उनका असली नाम भी अजय सिंह देओल है.
