Aatank Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Production of this film started from 1980. But due to the financial problem, the film was shelved after half shooting. Then the shooting of this film started again from 1990. Despite the film being made, the film did not get any distributor for many years. Then with great difficulty the film was released in 1996.
2) By the time this film was released, some actors of the film like Leela Mishra, Keshto Mukherjee, Vinod Mehra and Amjad Khan had died. That’s why their voice was dubbed by the dubbing artist. Also the voice of Master Mayur and Girish Karanad were also dubbed by the dubbing artist.
3) The body double of Vinod Mehra, Keshto Mukherjee and Amjad Khan was used to complete the shooting of this film. New characters Ranjeet and Ravi Kishan were also added to the film’s story by making slight changes.
4) The story of this film was inspired by the 1975 Hollywood film Jaws.
आतंक फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म की प्रोडक्शन सन 1980 से शुरू हुयी थी. लेकिन फाइनेंसियल प्रॉब्लम के चलते ये फिल्म आधे शूटिंग के बाद बंद हो गयी थी. फिर इस फिल्म की शूटिंग दोबारा से सन 1990 से शुरू हुयी थी. फिल्म बनकर तैयार होने के वावजूद भी इस फिल्म को कई सालों तक कोई डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर नहीं मिला था. फिर बड़ी मुश्किल से इस फिल्म को सन 1996 में रिलीज़ किया गया था.
2) जब ये फिल्म रिलीज़ हुयी थी तब तक इस फिल्म के कुछ एक्टर्स जैसे लीला मिश्रा, केश्टो मुखर्जी, विनोद मेहरा और अमजद खान की मौत हो चुकी थी. इसलिए उनकी आवाज़ की डब्बिंग आर्टिस्ट ने डब किया था. साथ ही मास्टर मयूर और गिरीश करनद की आवाज़ को भी डब्बिंग आर्टिस्ट ने डब किया था.
3) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग को पूरा करने के लिए विनोद मेहरा, केश्टो मुख़र्जी और अमजद खान के बॉडी डबल का इस्तमाल किया गया था. इस फिल्म की कहानी में थोड़े बदलाव करके नए करैक्टर रणजीत और रवि किशन को भी शामिल किये गए थे.
4) इस फिल्म की कहानी सन 1975 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म जॉस से प्रेरित थी.
