1) The story of this film was inspired from the life of actress Parveen Babi.
2) The title of this film was first kept as actress, then later changed to Awarapan. But this title also did not suit to Mahesh Bhatt, so in the end its title was given as woh lamhe.
3) This film could not recover its budget in the box office. But later the film recovered from DVD cassettes and satellite rights.
4) In this film, Deepshikha Nagpal was to be cast first. Because his face resembles Parveen Babi to a great extent. But Mahesh Bhatt liked Kangana Ranaut’s acting in the gangster film. That’s why Mahesh Bhatt signed Kangana Ranaut again.
5) This film was Shad Randhawa’s debut film.
वो लम्हे फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ दिलचस्प और अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म की कहानी एक्ट्रेस परवीन बाबी की ज़िन्दगी से प्रेरित थी.
2) इस फिल्म का टाइटल सबसे पहले एक्ट्रेस रखा गया था, फिर बाद में आवारापन कर दिया गया था. लेकिन ये टाइटल भी महेश भट्ट को ठीक नहीं लगा था इसलिए अंत में इसका टाइटल वो लम्हे कर दिया गया था.
3) ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस में तो अपना बजट नहीं निकाल पायी थी. लेकिन बाद में डीवीडी कैसेट्स और सैटेललाइट राइट्स से इस फिल्म ने रिकवरी कर ली थी.
4) इस फिल्म में पहले दीपशिखा नागपाल को लिया जाने वाला था. क्योंकि उनकी शक्ल परवीन बाबी से कई हद तक मिलती है. लेकिन महेश भट्ट को गैंगस्टर फिल्म में कंगना रनौत की एक्टिंग बहुत पसंद आयी थी. इसलिए फिर महेश भट्ट ने कंगना रनौत को साइन किया था.
