Veerana Movie Unknown Facts :
1) In 1983, when Shyam Ramsay was returning to Bombay from Mahabaleshwar after shooting the Purani Mandir film. Then he encountered a witch on the way and he made a film about this same experience.
2) After the tremendous success of this film, Jasmine suddenly became anonymous. Some sources said that he used to get calls from the underworld, so he left the film world and moved to New York. So some also tell that because of his mother’s death, he was deeply shocked, that’s why he kept distance from the film world.
3) Shyam Ramsay was about to make the sequel of Veerana film, but after the demise of Shyam Ramsay, his film remained incomplete.
4) The remake of the film Veerana was made in 2001 with the title of the Tahkhana.
5) This film was first to be released in 1985. But some scenes were not passed by the censor board. Due to which the film was delayed for 3 years.
वीराना फिल्म से जुड़ी अनसुनी बातें :
1) सन 1983 जब श्याम रामसे पुराना मंदिर फिल्म की शूटिंग कर के महाबलेश्वर से बॉम्बे लौट रहे थे. तब रास्ते में उनका सामना किसी चुड़ैल से हुआ था और उन्होंने अपने इसी अनुभव को लेकर वीराना फिल्म बनाया था.
2) इस फिल्म की जबरदस्त सफलता के बाद जास्मिन अचानक से गुमनाम हो गयी थी. कुछ सोर्सेज का कहना था की उन्हें अंडरवर्ल्ड से फ़ोन आते थे इसलिए उन्होंने फ़िल्मी दुनिया को छोड़कर नई यॉर्क में चली गयी थी. तो कुछ ये भी बताते हैं की उनकी माँ की मौत होने के कारण उन्हें बहुत गहरा सदमा लगा था, इसलिए ही उन्होंने फ़िल्मी दुनिया से दूरी बना ली थी.
3) श्याम रामसे वीराना फिल्म का सीक्वल बनाने वाले थे पर श्याम रामसे के निधन होने के बाद उनकी ये फिल्म अधूरी रह गयी.
4) वीराना फिल्म का रीमेक 2001 में बनाया गया था जिसका टाइटल तहखाना था.
5) ये फिल्म पहले 1985 में रिलीज़ होने वाली थी. लेकिन कुछ सीन्स को सेंसर बोर्ड वाले पास नहीं कर रहे थे. जिसके चलते फिल्म 3 साल तक डिले हुयी थी.
