Thappad Movie Facts :
1) This film was the second film of Taapsee Pannu with director Anubhav Sinha, before which they also worked in Mulk Film.
2) When the poster of the Thappad film was released, many people started the trend of banning the Thappad, as Taapsee Pannu opposed the CAA.
3) Pavel Gulati slaps Taapsee Pannu in a scene and he was quite nervous while doing that scene. Then Taapsee told him that there is no need to be so nervous and give it round slap.
4) Reema Lagoo’s daughter Mrunmayi Lagoo made her debut as a writer.
5) Earlier this film was to be released on 6 March but later it was preponed.
6) In this film, Manisha Koirala was first choice for the female lawyer, but Manisha Koirala had busy in Netflix. Therefore, she refused to work in this film.
थप्पड़ फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म अनुभव सिन्हा और तापसी पन्नू की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी, इससे पहले उन्होंने मुल्क फिल्ल्म में भी काम किया था.
2) जब थप्पड़ फिल्म का पोस्टर रिलीज़ किया गया था तब कई लोगों ने थप्पड़ को बैन करने का ट्रेंड चलाया था, क्योंकि तापसी पन्नू ने CAA का विरोध किया था.
3) पावैल गुलाटी एक सीन में तापसी पन्नू को थप्पड़ मारते हैं और उस सीन को करते समय वे काफी नर्वस थे. फिर तापसी ने उनसे कहा था की इतना नर्वस होने की जरुरत नहीं एक घुमा के देना.
4) रीमा लागू की बेटी मृण्मयी लागू ने राइटर के रूप में अपना डेब्यू किया था.
5) पहले ये फिल्म 6 मार्च को रिलीज़ होने वाली थी पर बाद में इसे प्रेपोन कर दिया गया था.
6) इस फिल्म में फीमेल वकील के लिए पहले मनीषा कोइराला को लिया जाने वाला था पर मनीषा कोइराला तब नेटफ्लिक्स में व्यस्त थी. इसलिए उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
