Shabaash Mithu Movie Unknown Facts and Trivia :
1) The story of this film was based on the life of woman cricketer Mithali Raj.
2) After the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup, Viacom 18 Studios bought the rights to make Mithali Raj’s biopic film. They believed that after this film, many girls would be inspired for women cricket. But alas, this film could not do well in the box office and flopped badly.
3) Priyanka Chopra was earlier to be cast in this film. But due to some reason things did not work out, then Taapsee Pannu was taken in her place.
4) The film was earlier scheduled to release on 4 February 2022. But due to the third wave of Covid then it was postponed. Due to not getting the right date, this film could not be released till June. Finally this film was released on 15th July.
5) When this film was announced, Rahul Dholakia was going to direct this film. But due to Covid, the shooting of this film was stopped before it started. After which Rahul Dholakia left this film. Then this film was directed by Srijit Mukherjee.
शाबाश मिथु फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts & Trivia in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म की कहानी वुमन क्रिकेटर मिथाली राज के जीवन पर आधारित थी.
2) 2017 के वोमेन क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप के बाद वायाकॉम 18 स्टूडियोज ने मिथाली राज की बायोपिक फिल्म बनाने के लिए राइट्स ख़रीदे थे. उनका ऐसा मानना था की इस फिल्म के बाद बहुत से लड़कियां वोमेन क्रिकेट के लिए इंस्पायर होंगी. लेकिन अफ़सोस ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस में नहीं चल पायी और बुरी तरह से फ्लॉप हुयी.
3) इस फिल्म में पहले प्रियंका चोपड़ा को लिया जाने वाला था. लेकिन कुछ कारण से बात नहीं बन पायी फिर उनकी जगह तापसी पन्नू को लिया गया.
4) इस फिल्म को पहले 4 फरवरी 2022 को रिलीज़ किया जाने वाला था. लेकिन कोविड के थर्ड वेव के चलते तब इसे पोस्टपोन कर दिया गया था. सही डेट न मिल पाने के कारण ये फिल्म जून तक रिलीज़ नहीं हो पायी थी. आखिर में ये फिल्म को 15 जुलाई को रिलीज़ किया गया.
5) जब ये फिल्म अन्नोउंस हुयी थी तब इस फिल्म को राहुल ढोलकिया डायरेक्ट करने वाले थे. लेकिन कोविड के चलते इस फिल्म की शूटिंग शुरू होने से पहले ही रुक गयी थी. जिसके बाद राहुल ढोलकिया इस फिल्म से हट गए थे. फिर इस फिल्म को सृजित मुखर्जी ने डायरेक्ट किया था.
