Pardes Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Subhash Ghai wrote the role of Ganga keeping Madhuri Dixit in mind. But Madhuri Dixit had problems with Subhash Ghai, so she refused to work in this film.
2) The shooting of the song “Yeh Dil Deewana” was done at last. Shahrukh Khan was about to go somewhere in the evening, so the shooting of this song was done in the morning. Shahrukh Khan’s closeup was shot for this song and his body double was used for the rest of the car scenes.
3) This film was the debut film of Mahima Chaudhary and Atul Agnihotri.
4) Before Mahima Chaudhary, her role was offered to Juhi Chawla . But she refused to work in this film.
5) Mahima Chaudhary’s real name is Ritu Chaudhary. But Subhash Ghai changed her name to Mahima. Because “M” letter is his lucky letter. Earlier also he had cast Manisha Koirala in Saudagar and Meenakshi Seshadri in Hero. Both name also starts with ” M “.

परदेस फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) सुभाष घई ने गंगा का रोल माधुरी दीक्षित को माइंड में रखकर लिखा था. लेकिन माधुरी दीक्षित को सुभाष घई से दिक्कत थी इसलिए उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
2) ” ये दिल दीवाना ” गाने की शूटिंग को सबसे आखरी में किया गया था. शाहरुख़ खान शाम को कहीं जाने वाले थे इसलिए इस गाने की शूटिंग को सुबह किया गया था. इस गाने के लिए शाहरुख़ खान का क्लोज़अप शूट किया गया था और बाकी कार सीन्स के लिए उनका बॉडी डबल का इस्तमाल किया गया था.
3) ये फिल्म महिमा चौधरी और अतुल अग्निहोत्री की डेब्यू फिल्म थी.
4) महिमा चौधरी से पहले उनका रोल जूही चावला को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
5) महिमा चौधरी का असली नाम ऋतू चौधरी है. लेकिन सुभाष घई ने उनका नाम बदलकर महिमा रखा था. क्योंकि ” M ” लेटर उनका लकी लेटर है. इससे पहले भी उन्होंने सौदागर में मनीषा कोइराला को लिया था और हीरो फिल्म में मिनाक्षी शेषाद्रि को लिया था. दोनों का नाम भी ” M ” से शुरू होता है.
6) सुभाष घई चाहते थे की इस फिल्म के लिए म्यूजिक ऐ आर रेहमान दें. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म के लिए म्यूजिक देने से मना कर दिया था. क्योंकि सुभाष घई म्यूजिक को दो महीने के अंदर तैयार करने बोल रहे थे.
7) इस फिल्म में सुभाष घई ने कैमियो किया था वे नाव में नज़र आये थे.
