Kasam Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Production of this film started from 1990. Then Sunny Deol was going to have a small cameo role in this film. But the makers had made Sunny Deol’s role bigger and this film became Sunny Deol’s film. Due to which Sunny Deol had very angry and because of that, he also had an argument with his makers. After which this film got stuck and the rest of the film started shooting after both of them compromised. The film was released in 2001 after 11 years of delay.
2) This film was Neelam Kothari’s last released film.
3) The title of this film was changed several times. The title of this film was first kept patthar aur payal. Then after this Kaal Karam, Vidhata and Kali Shankar were also kept. But none of these titles were liked by the makers, so its title was kept kasam at the end.
4) This film was the third film of Sunny Deol, Naseeruddin Shah and Chunky Pandey. The three together also appeared in the film Vishwatma and Lootere.
कसम फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म की प्रोडक्शन सन 1990 से शुरू हुयी थी. तब इस फिल्म में सनी देओल का एक छोटा सा कैमियो रोल होने वाला था. लेकिन मेकर्स ने सनी देओल के रोल को और ज्यादा बड़ा दिया था और ये फिल्म सनी देओल की फिल्म बन गयी थी. जिससे सनी देओल बहुत नाराज़ हुए थे और उसी वजह से उनकी मेकर्स से बहस भी हुयी थी. जिसके बाद ये फिल्म अटक गयी थी और दोनों के सुलाह के लम्बे समय बाद फिल्म की बाकी शूटिंग शुरू हुयी थी. ये फिल्म 11 साल डिले होने के बाद सन 2001 में जाकर रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
2) ये फिल्म नीलम कोठारी की आखरी रिलीज़ हुयी फिल्म थी.
3) इस फिल्म के टाइटल को कई बार चेंज किया गया था. सबसे पहले इस फिल्म का टाइटल पत्थर और पायल रखा गया था. फिर इसके बाद काल करम, विधाता और काली शंकर भी रखा गया था. लेकिन इनमे से कोई टाइटल मेकर्स को पसंद नहीं आ रहा था इसलिए अंत में इसका टाइटल कसम कर दिया गया था.
4) ये फिल्म सनी देओल, नसीरुद्दीन शाह और चंकी पांडे की साथ में तीसरी फिल्म थे. इससे तीनो साथ में विश्वात्मा और लूटेरे फिल्म में भी नज़र आये थे.
