1) The film was a Hindi remake of Telugu film collector Gari Abbai which was released in 1987.
2) This film was the second film of Sanjay Dutt and Dilip Kumar together after vidhaata. But this film could not prove to be as big hit as the Vidhata film.
3) This film was the last film of Dilip Kumar and Nutan together. Earlier both of them worked in Karma film.
4) This film was the last film of Nutan to be alive. She died in 1991.

1) ये फिल्म सन 1987 में आयी तेलुगु फिल्म कलेक्टर गारी अब्बाई की हिंदी रीमेक थी.
2) ये फिल्म संजय दत्त और दिलीप कुमार की साथ में विधाता के बाद दूसरी फिल्म थी. लेकिन ये फिल्म विधाता फिल्म जितनी बड़ी हिट साबित नहीं हो पायी थी.
3) ये फिल्म दिलीप कुमार और नूतन की साथ में आखरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों ने कर्मा फिल्म में काम किया था.
