1) Feroze Khan wanted to play role of Manoj Kumar in this film. Manoj Kumar had a good relationship with the producer of this film. So the producer signed Manoj Kumar in the film.
2) Director Bhim singh became ill during the shooting of this film. So the rest of the shooting of this film was completed by Manoj Kumar.
3) The film was a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Alayamani which was released in 1962.

1) फिरोज खान इस फिल्म में मनोज कुमार वाला रोल करना चाहते थे. मनोज कुमार के इस फिल्म के प्रोडूसर के साथ अच्छे रिश्ते थे. इसलिए प्रोडूसर ने मनोज कुमार को ही इस फिल्म में साइन किया था.
2) डायरेक्टर भीमसिंह इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के दौरान बीमार हो गए थे. तो इस फिल्म की बाकी शूटिंग को मनोज कुमार ने पूरा किया था.
3) ये फिल्म सन 1962 में आयी तमिल फिल्म आलयमानी की हिंदी रीमेक थी.
