Jugnu Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The remake of this film was later made in Telugu in 1980. The title of which was Guru and Kamal Haasan was seen in this film.
2) This was director Pramod Chakraborty’s last film with Mehmood. Mehmood and Pramod Chakraborty used to be good friends before this film. But during the shooting of this film, both of them had a fight over some thing. So the two never worked together after this film.
3) Dharmendra gave a total of 7 hits in 1973. In which the film Jugnu was also included. The record of giving the highest number of hits in a year is still in the name of Dharmendra. No actor has broken his record yet.
4) This film was the second film of directors Pramod Chakraborty and Dharmendra together. Earlier both of them worked together in the film “Naya Zamana” which was released in 1971.
जुगनू फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में सन 1980 में तेलुगु में भी बनाया गया था. जिसका टाइटल गुरु था और इस फिल्म में कमल हासन नज़र आये थे.
2) ये फिल्म डायरेक्टर प्रमोद चक्रबोर्ती की मेहमूद की साथ में आखरी फिल्म थी. मेहमूद और प्रमोद चक्रबोर्ती इस फिल्म से पहले अच्छे दोस्त हुआ करते थे. लेकिन इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के समय दोनों की कुछ बात को लेकर लड़ाई हो गयी थी. इसलिए इस फिल्म के बाद दोनों ने साथ में कभी काम नहीं किया.
3) धर्मेंद्र ने सन 1973 में कुल 7 हिट फिल्मे दी थी. जिसमे जुगनू फिल्म भी शामिल थी. एक साल में में सबसे ज्यादा हिट फिल्में देने का रिकॉर्ड अभी भी धर्मेंद्र के नाम पर ही है. उनका रिकॉर्ड अभी तक कोई भी एक्टर नहीं तोड़ पाया है.
4) ये फिल्म डायरेक्टर प्रमोद चक्रबोर्ती और धर्मेंद्र की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों ने साथ में ” नया ज़माना ” फिल्म में काम किया था जो सन 1971 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
