Yodha Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was the second film of Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt together. Their first film together was Kroadh, which was released in 1991.
2) The rights of this film were bought by Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Company.
3) At the time of shooting of this film, Sanjay Dutt used to go to America in between shooting. Because the treatment of cancer of his wife Richa Sharma was going on. Due to which the film was also delayed.
4) When this film was launched in the year 1988, its title was kept as “Be Naqab”. Then Kawal Sharma was directing this film and Sonam was also going to be seen in this film. But later, for some reason, Kawal Sharma was replaced by Rahul Rawail. So while Sonam was also removed and Shilpa Shirodkar was taken.
5) Before Sanjay Dutt, his role was offered to Aamir Khan. He wanted to work with Rahul Rawail. But he did not like his role. That’s why Aamir Khan refused to work in this film.
6) Rahul Rawail wanted Mamik Singh to play the role of Sunny Deol’s brother in this film. But he refused to work in this film. Then in his place, the role of Sunny Deol’s brother was played by Abhinav Chaturvedi.
7) Before Sunny Deol, his role was offered to Mithun Chakraborty, Anil Kapoor and Aditya Pancholi. But all three had refused to work in this film.
8) In this film, Sanjay Dutt was named above Sunny Deol in the name credits. Still Sunny Deol had no problem with this.
9) Before Sangeeta Bijlani, her role was offered to Juhi Chawla and Madhavi. But both had refused to work in this film.
10) Director Rahul Rawail once called Sangeeta Bijlani an unprofessional actress. Because at the time of Goa’s schedule, Sangeeta Bijlani had left without informing anyone. Whereas Sangeeta Bijlani said that she was sitting there empty for many days and she did not even have any work there. Sangeeta Bijlani said that Rahul Rawail had wasted a lot of her time. So she left from there.
योद्धा फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म सनी देओल और संजय दत्त की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. दोनों के साथ में पहली फिल्म क्रोध थी, जो सन 1991 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
2) इस फिल्म के राइट्स को शाहरुख़ खान की रेड चिल्लीज कंपनी ने खरीदा था.
3) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के समय संजय दत्त बीच बीच में अमेरिका जाया करते थे. क्योंकि उनकी पत्नी ऋचा शर्मा के कैंसर का ट्रीटमेंट चल रहा था. जिसके कारण फिल्म डिले भी हुयी थी.
4) सन 1988 में जब ये फिल्म लॉन्चेड हुयी थी तब इसका टाइटल ” बे नक़ाब ” रखा गया था. तब इस फिल्म को कवल शर्मा डायरेक्ट कर रहे थे और इस फिल्म में सोनम भी नज़र आने वाली थी. लेकिन बाद में कुछ कारण से कवल शर्मा को हटाकर राहुल रवैल को लिया गया था. तो वहीँ सोनम को भी हटाकर शिल्पा शिरोडकर को लिया गया था.
5) संजय दत्त से पहले उनका रोल आमिर खान को ऑफर हुआ था. वे राहुल रवैल के साथ काम तो करना चाहते थे. लेकिन उन्हें उनका रोल पसंद नहीं आया था. इसलिए आमिर खान ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
6) राहुल रवैल चाहते थे की इस फिल्म में सनी देओल के भाई का रोल ममिक सिंह निभाए. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. फिर उनकी जगह सनी देओल के भाई का रोल अभिनव चतुर्वेदी ने निभाया था.
7) सनी देओल से पहले उनका रोल मिथुन चक्रबोर्ती, अनिल कपूर और आदित्य पंचोली को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन तीनो ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
8) इस फिल्म में नाम के क्रेडिट्स में संजय दत्त का नाम सनी देओल से उप्पर रखा गया था. फिर भी सनी देओल को इस बात से कोई भी परेशानी नहीं थी.
9) संगीता बिजलानी से पहले उनका रोल जूही चावला और माधवी को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन दोनों ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
10) डायरेक्टर राहुल रवैल ने एक बार संगीता बिजलानी को अनप्रोफेशनल एक्ट्रेस कहा था. क्योंकि गोवा के शेडूल के समय संगीता बिजलानी किसी को बिना बताये ही वहां से चले गयी थी. जबकि संगीता बिजलानी का कहना था की वे कई दिनों तक वहां खाली बैठी थी और उनका वहां कोई काम भी नहीं था. संगीता बिजलानी का कहना था की राहुल रवैल ने उनका काफी टाइम वेस्ट किया था. इसलिए वे वहां से चले गयी थी.
