1) ये फिल्म उस समय की टॉप एनीमेशन फिल्म थी और 8 साल तक इस फिल्म के रिकॉर्ड को कोई भी एनीमेशन फिल्म नहीं तोड़ पायी थी. यहाँ तक के कई नॉन एनीमेशन फिल्म भी इस फिल्म के रिकॉर्ड को नहीं तोड़ पायी थी. फिर 2003 में आयी फिल्म फाइंडिंग निमो ने द लायन किंग फिल्म के रिकॉर्ड को तोडा था.
