Sultanat Movie Unknown Facts :

1) This film was the debut film of Karan Kapoor, son of Shashi Kapoor.

2) This film was the second film of Sunny Deol and Dharmendra together. Prior to this, both of them appeared in the Sunny film, which was released in 1984. But there was no scene of the two together in this film.

3) Juhi Chawla made her Bollywood debut with this film. But she made her debut as the lead actress in the film “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak”.

4) Producer and director Arjun Hingorani named each of his films with “Triple K”. He also wanted to name the film with “Triple K”. But the director of the Sultanat film Mukul Anand refused. Therefore, Arjun Hingorani wanted to put “Karanama Kamal Ke” in front of the Sultanat film, so that his “Triple K” title trend would continue. But this title was not freezing, so at the behest of everyone, its title was kept only as “Sultanate”.

5) This film was the 8th film of Arjun Hingorani’s Dharmendra together. Arjun Hingorani had directed and produced just 10 films in his film career and Dharmendra was seen in all those films. Dharmendra’s first film “Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere” was also directed by Arjun Hingorani.

6) Anita Raj was previously signed to play Zarina. But for some reason, he was later removed and Juhi Chawla was taken.

7) In this film, Sridevi’s voice was dubbed.

8) After the release of this film, Director Mukul Anand once told the media that from the very first day he felt that this film will be a big flop. He said that the budget of this film had gone up due to which the film had to be damaged.

9) This film was Sridevi’s first film with director Mukul Anand. After this she also worked in the movie Khuda Gawah, which was released in 1992.

10) Suresh Oberoi and Mukul Anand were good friends at that time. But still Mukul Anand did not take Suresh Oberoi in the Sultanat film. Which made Suresh Oberoi very bad.

सल्तनत फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :

1) ये फिल्म शशि कपूर के बेटे करण कपूर की डेब्यू फिल्म थी.

2) ये फिल्म सनी देओल और धर्मेंद्र की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों सनी फिल्म में नज़र आये थे जो सन 1984 में आयी थी. लेकिन इस फिल्म में दोनों का साथ में कोई भी सीन नहीं था.

3) इस फिल्म से जूही चावला ने बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू किया था. लेकिन उन्होंने लीड एक्ट्रेस के रूप में डेब्यू ” क़यामत से क़यामत तक ” फिल्म से किया था.

4) प्रोडूसर और डायरेक्टर अर्जुन हिंगोरानी अपनी हर फिल्म का नाम ” ट्रिपल के ” से रखते थे. वे इस फिल्म का नाम भी ” ट्रिपल के ” से रखना चाहते थे. लेकिन सल्तनत फिल्म के डायरेक्टर मुकुल आनंद ने मना कर दिया था. इसलिए अर्जुन हिंगोरानी सल्तनत फिल्म के आगे ” कारनामे कमाल के ” लगाना चाहते थे, ताकि उनका ” ट्रिपल के ” टाइटल का ट्रेंड चालू रहे. लेकिन ये टाइटल कुछ जम नहीं रहा था इसलिए सभी के कहने पर इसके टाइटल को केवल ” सल्तनत ” ही रखा गया था.

5) ये फिल्म अर्जुन हिंगोरानी की धर्मेंद्र के साथ में 8वी फिल्म थी. अर्जुन हिंगोरानी ने अपने फिल्मी करियर में बस 10 फिल्मे ही डायरेक्ट और प्रोडूस किया था और उन सभी फिल्मो में धर्मेंद्र ही नज़र आये थे. धर्मेंद्र की पहली फिल्म ” दिल भी तेरा हम भी तेरे ” फिल्म को भी अर्जुन हिंगोरानी ने ही डायरेक्ट किया था.

6) ज़रीना के रोल के लिए पहले अनीता राज को साइन किया था. लेकिन कुछ कारण से बाद में उन्हें हटाकर जूही चावला को लिया गया था.

7) इस फिल्म में श्रीदेवी की आवाज़ को डब किया गया था.

8) इस फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के बाद डायरेक्टर मुकुल आनंद ने एक बार मीडिया में कहा था की उन्हें पहले दिन से ही लग रहा था की ये फिल्म बहुत बड़ी फ्लॉप होगी. उनका कहना था की इस फिल्म का बजट बहुत बढ़ गया था जिससे फिल्म को नुक्सान होना ही था.

9) ये फिल्म श्रीदेवी की डायरेक्टर मुकुल आनंद के साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद उन्होंने खुदा गवाह फिल्म में भी काम किया था, जो सन 1992 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.

10) सुरेश ओबेरॉय और मुकुल आनंद उस समय अच्छे दोस्त हुआ करते थे. लेकिन फिर भी मुकुल आनंद ने सल्तनत फिल्म में सुरेश ओबेरॉय को नहीं लिया था. जिससे सुरेश ओबेरॉय को बहुत बुरा लगा था.
