1) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले ‘ कम्बख्त ‘ रखा गया था. लेकिन बाद में इसे बदलकर साहिबान कर दिया गया था.
2) ये फिल्म रमेश तलवार की डायरेक्शन में आखरी फिल्म थी. उन्होंने अपनी फ़िल्मी करियर में कुल 6 फिल्मे डायरेक्ट की थी.
3) इस फिल्म की कहानी सन 1971 में आयी फिल्म लाल पत्थर से प्रेरित थी.
4) इस फिल्म की शूटिंग तो समय पर ख़त्म हो चुकी थी. लेकिन इस फिल्म को रिलीज़ होने में 2 साल का समय लगा था. इस फिल्म के प्रोडूसर की मौत गयी थी जिसके कारण फिल्म 2 साल तक डिले हुयी थी.
