Road Movie Unknown Facts :
1) In this film, Saif Ali Khan was going to be seen first in place of Vivek Oberoi and Urmila Matondkar was going to be seen in place of Antara Mali. But for some reason both were not cast in this film.
2) In this film, Aftab Shivdasani was first offered the role of Manoj Bajpayee but he refused to act in this film.
3) When the film was announced, its title was kept as Aankh Micholi . Then Nana Patekar, Saif Ali Khan and Urmila Matondkar were going to be seen in this film. And this film was to be directed by Taufiq Baraskar. But for some reason the title of this film was changed and the film was made with a new star cast.
रोड फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म में विवेक ओबेरॉय की जगह पहले सैफ अली खान नज़र आने वाले थे तो अंतरा माली की जगह उर्मिला मातोंडकर नज़र आने वाली थी. पर कुछ कारण से दोनों को इस फिल्म में नहीं लिया गया था.
2) इस फिल्म में मनोज बाजपाई से पहला उनका रोल आफताब शिवदासनी को ऑफर हुआ था पर उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
3) जब इस फिल्म की घोषणा हुयी थी तब इसका टाइटल आँख मिचोली रखा गया था. तब इस फिल्म में नाना पाटेकर, सैफ अली खान और उर्मिला मातोंडकर नज़र आने वाले थे. और इस फिल्म को तौफ़ीक़ बारस्कर डायरेक्ट करने वाले थे. लेकिन कुछ कारण से इस फिल्म के टाइटल को बदल दिया गया था और नए स्टार कास्ट के साथ फिल्म को बनाया गया था.
