1) The story of this film was based on the real life politician Paritala Ravindra. But in the film Rakhta Charitra, his name was changed to Pratap Ravi and this role was played by Vivek Oberoi.
2) The character of Bukka Reddy in this film was based on real life Opul Reddy.
3) Shatrughan Sinha shaved his mustache for the first time.
4) Shatrughan Sinha’s character in this film was based on Telugu superstar NT Rama Rao who later turned politician.

2) इस फिल्म में बुक्का रेड्डी का करैक्टर रियल लाइफ में ओपल रेड्डी पर आधारित था.
3) इस फिल्म के लिए शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा ने पहली बार अपनी मूंछ शेव किये थे.
4) इस फिल्म में शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा का करैक्टर तेलुगु सुपरस्टार एन टी रामा राओ पर आधारित था जो की बाद में पॉलिटिशियन बने थे.
