1) This film was completed in 8 years. The shooting of this film started in 1974, but for some reason the film was delayed.
2) This film was the third film with Dharmendra’s director Vijay Anand. Prior to this, he also worked in the films Blackmail and Ram Balaram.
3) This film was the last film of Rajesh Khanna and Vinod Khanna together.
4) Vinod Khanna’s role was first offered to Amitabh Bachchan, but when he came to know that Rajesh Khanna was also in this film, he refused to work in this film.
राजपूत फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें :
1) ये फिल्म 8 साल में बनकर तैयार हुयी थी. इस फिल्म की शूटिंग 1974 से शुरू हुयी थी, पर कुछ न कुछ कारण से ये फिल्म डिले होते रही थी.
2) ये फिल्म धर्मेंद्र की डायरेक्टर विजय आनंद की साथ में तीसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले उन्होंने ब्लैकमेल और राम बलराम फिल्म में भी काम किया था.
3) ये फिल्म राजेश खन्ना और विनोद खन्ना की साथ में आखरी फिल्म थी.
4) विनोद खन्ना से पहला उनका रोल अमिताभ बच्चन को ऑफर हुआ था, पर जब उन्हें पता चला की राजेश खन्ना भी इस फिल्म में है तो उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
