Raja Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Nana Patekar was signed in this film before Paresh Rawal. He also shot this film for a few days. But Nana Patekar and director Indra Kumar had an argument over something. That’s why Nana Patekar left this film.
2) Indra Kumar wanted to keep the title of this film “Ishq” earlier. But later he changed his mind and named the film Raja.
3) This film was director Indra Kumar’s third film with Madhuri Dixit. Earlier, Madhuri Dixit also worked in Indra Kumar’s Dil Aur Beta film.
4) This film was the first film of Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor together. After this both were also seen in the film Mohabbat, which was released in 1997.
5) Indra Kumar wanted to cast Tabu first in this film. But later he changed his mind and took Madhuri Dixit.
राजा फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) परेश रावल से पहले इस फिल्म में नाना पाटेकर को साइन किया गया था. उन्होंने कुछ दिन इस फिल्म की शूटिंग भी की थी. लेकिन नाना पाटेकर और डायरेक्टर इंद्रा कुमार का किसी बात पे बहस हो गया था. इसलिए नाना पाटेकर इस फिल्म से हट गए थे.
2) इंद्रा कुमार इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले ” इश्क़ ” रखना चाहते थे. लेकिन बाद में उन्होंने अपना मन बदल दिया था और इस फिल्म का टाइटल राजा रखा था.
3) ये फिल्म डायरेक्टर इंद्रा कुमार की माधुरी दीक्षित के साथ में तीसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले माधुरी दीक्षित ने इंद्रा कुमार की दिल और बेटा फिल्म में भी काम किया था.
4) ये फिल्म माधुरी दीक्षित और संजय कपूर की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों मोहब्बत फिल्म में भी नज़र आये थे, जो सन 1997 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
5) इंद्रा कुमार इस फिल्म में पहले तब्बू को लेना चाहते थे. लेकिन बाद में उन्होंने अपना इरादा बदल दिया था और माधुरी दीक्षित को लिया था.
