1) इस फिल्म में मिथुन चक्रबोर्ती ने बस कैमियो रोल किया था. फिर भी पोस्टर में उनकी बड़ी से फोटो डाल दी गयी थी ताकि पब्लिक फिल्म देखने पहुंचे.
2) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले चुड़ैल नंबर 1 रखा जाने वला था. लेकिन ये टाइटल पहले कॉपीराइटेड था इसलिए इसके टाइटल को बदलकर प्यासी आत्मा कर दिया गया था.
