1) Padmini Kolhapure was only 17 years old when she received the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Earlier, Dimple Kapadia also received the Best Actress Award for the film Bobby at the age of 17.
2) Padmini Kolhapure had to take 8 retakes for the scene slapping Rishi Kapoor.
3) In this film, Shammi Kapoor worked for the first time in a film produced by Raj Kapoor.

1) पद्मिनी कोल्हापुरे मात्र 17 साल की थी जब उन्हें बेस्ट एक्ट्रेस का फिल्मफेयर अवार्ड मिला था. इससे पहले डिंपल कपाड़िया को भी 17 साल की उम्र में बॉबी फिल्म के लिए बेस्ट एक्ट्रेस का अवार्ड मिला था.
2) पद्मिनी कोल्हापुरे द्वारा ऋषि कपूर को थप्पड़ मारने वाले सीन के लिए 8 बार रिटेक लेना पड़ा था.
3) इस फिल्म में शम्मी कपूर ने पहली बार राज कपूर के प्रोडक्शन में बनी फिल्म में काम किया था.
4) ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस में 25 हफ़्तों तक चली थी और सिल्वर जुबली हिट साबित हुयी थी.
