1) The film was a Hindi remake of the 1989 Telugu film Ankusam.
2) The film was Chiranjeevi’s Bollywood debut.
3) Before Juhi Chawla, the role of Shanti was offered to Sridevi. But due to lack of dates, she refused to work in this film.
4) This film was the first film of Chiranjeevi and Juhi Chawla together. After this, both also appeared in the film The Gentleman which was released in 1994.

3) जूही चावला से पहले शांति का रोल श्रीदेवी को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन डेट्स न होने के कारण उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
4) ये फिल्म चीरंजीवी और जूही चावला की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों द जेन्टलमैन फिल्म में भी नज़र आये थे जो सन 1994 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
