1) The film ran for 500 days in theaters in Andhra Pradesh.
2) This was the first Telugu film which ran for 100 days in Chennai.
3) The role of Shruti was offered to Ayesha Takia before Ileana D’Cruz. But she refused to work in this film. Then later she played the same role in Wanted, the remake of this film.
4) The remake of this film was later made in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada as well. The title of the Tamil remake was Pokkiri and Vijay was seen in this film. So the title of Hindi remake was Wanted and Salman Khan was seen in this film. So the Kannada remake was titled Porky and Darshan was seen in this film.
5) After this film Mahesh Babu became the biggest superstar of the Telugu industry.
6) This film became the highest grossing Telugu film of that time. This film was at number 1 for 3 years. After that the record of this film was broken by the film Magadheera..
7) Puri Jagannath had offered the lead role in this film to Pawan Kalyan. But he refused to work in this film. After that he also offered this film to Ravi Teja. But he too refused to work in this film. After everyone’s refusal, Jagannath was about to take Sonu Sood in this film. But Sonu Sood had failed in the look test. Then one day Puri Jagannath met Mahesh Babu in a hotel and he narrated the script of the film to Mahesh Babu there and Mahesh Babu agreed to work in this film.
8) Puri Jagannath had offered Shruti’s role to Ayesha Takia, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut and Parvati Melton before Ileana D’Cruz. But everyone had refused to work in this film.
9) Prakash Raj played the role of Main Villain in this film. Apart from this, he also played the role of Main Villain in the Hindi remake of the film Wanted and the Tamil remake Pokkiri.

1) ये फिल्म आंध्र प्रदेश के थिएटर्स में 500 दिनों तक चली थी.
2) ये पहली तेलुगु फिल्म थी जो चेन्नई में 100 दिनों तक चली थी.
3) इल्लिआना डक्रूज़ से पहले श्रुति का रोल आयशा टाकिया को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. फिर बाद में उन्होंने इस फिल्म के रीमेक वांटेड में यही रोल निभाया था.
4) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में तमिल, हिंदी और कन्नड़ा में भी बनाया गया था. तमिल रीमेक का टाइटल पोक्किरी था और इस फिल्म में विजय नज़र आये थे. तो हिंदी रीमेक का टाइटल वांटेड था और इस फिल्म में सलमान खान नज़र आये थे. तो कन्नड़ा रीमेक का टाइटल पोर्की था और इस फिल्म में दर्शन नज़र आये थे.
5) इस फिल्म के बाद महेश बाबू तेलुगु इंडस्ट्री के सबसे बड़े सुपरस्टार बन गए थे.
6) ये फिल्म उस समय की सबसे ज्यादा कमाने वाली तेलुगु फिल्म बनी थी. ये फिल्म 3 सालो तक नंबर 1 पर रही थी. उसके बाद इस फिल्म का रिकॉर्ड मगाधीरा फिल्म ने तोड़ा था..
7) पूरी जगन्नाथ ने इस फिल्म में लीड रोल का ऑफर सबसे पवन कल्याण को दिया था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. उसके बाद उन्होंने रवि तेजा को भी इस फिल्म का ऑफर दिया था. लेकिन उन्होंने भी इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. सभी के मना करने के बाद पूरी जगन्नाथ इस फिल्म में सोनू सूद को लेने वाले थे. लेकिन लुक टेस्ट में सोनू सूद फेल हो गए थे. फिर एक दिन पूरी जगन्नाथ एक होटल में महेश बाबू से मिले थे और उन्होंने वहीँ पर महेश बाबू को फिल्म की स्क्रिप्ट सुनाई थी और महेश बाबू इस फिल्म में काम करने के लिए तैयार हो गए थे.
8) पूरी जगन्नाथ ने इल्लिआना डक्रूज़ से पहले श्रुति का रोल आयेशा टाकिया, दीपिका पादुकोण, कंगना रनौत और पारवती मेल्टन को ऑफर किया था. लेकिन सभी ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
