1) Johnny Deep has a lot of tattoos on his body and he was dressed in a film to hide these tattoos as well as charcoal.
2) Johnny Deep had applied contact lenses for this film.
3) Johnny Deep wanted Jack Sparrow to have no nose in this film. But the idea was rejected by Disney makers.
4) Jack Sparrow’s role was first offered to Robert de Niro. But he refused to work in this film. Because he thought that this film would flop in the box office. But after the tremendous success of this film, he regretted not working in this film. So when he was offered the role of Captain Shakespeare in the film Stardust, he immediately said yes.
5) The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has been Hollywood’s 10th highest-grossing franchise.
6) The title of this film was earlier only kept as Pirates of the Caribbean. But later the makers thought that if this film would successful in the box office, then they will also make a sequel. Hence, the curse of the Black Pearl was later placed after the main title.
7) The film’s actress Keira Knightley was just 18 years old when the film was released.

1) जॉनी डीप के शरीर में बहुत से टैटूस बने हुए हैं और इन टैटूस को छिपाने के लिए फिल्म में उन्हें कपडे पहनाया गया था और साथ ही चारकोल भी इस्तमाल किया गया था.
2) इस फिल्म के लिए जॉनी डीप ने कांटेक्ट लेंस लगाए थे.
3) जॉनी डीप चाहते थे की इस फिल्म में जैक स्पैरो का नाक न रहे. लेकिन डिज्नी वालो ने ये आईडिया रिजेक्ट कर दिया था.
4) जैक स्पैरो का रोल पहले रोबर्ट डे नीरो को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. क्योंकि उन्हें लगता था की ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस में फ्लॉप हो जाएगी. लेकिन इस फिल्म की जबरदस्त सफलता के बाद उन्हें इस फिल्म में काम न करने का बहुत ज्यादा पछतावा हुआ था. इसलिए जब स्टारडस्ट फिल्म में उन्हें कैप्टेन शकेस्पीयर का रोल ऑफर हुआ था तो उन्होंने तुरंत हाँ कह दिया था.

7) इस फिल्म की एक्ट्रेस केइरा नाईटले मात्र 18 साल की थी जब ये फिल्म रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
8) 10 अगस्त 2002 को इस फिल्म की शूटिंग के दौरान सेट में आग लग गयी थी. आग लगने से किसी को कोई चोट तो नहीं आयी लेकिन करीब 4 लाख डॉलर का नुक्सान हुआ था.
