Pehchaan Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was the first film of Sunil Shetty and Saif Ali Khan together. After this, they also worked together in Suraksha, Ek Tha Raja and Humse Badhkar Kaun Films.
2) The title of this film was earlier titled ” Hum Umra “. But later it was changed to ” Pehchaan ” for some reason.
3) In this film, Sunil Shetty was signed to play Karan Verma. But later he played the role of Kunal Verma for some reason. While Karan Verma was played by Saif Ali Khan.
4) A film was also being made in 2000 with the same title. In which Nana Patekar, Twinkle Khanna and Milind Soman were to be seen. But for some reason the film was shelved.
5) Deepak Shivdasani had offered the role of Tina Verma to many actresses. But everyone refused to work in this film. Because no one wanted to play the role of a sister. Then Madhu played this role at the end.
6) Shilpa Shirodkar was offered to choose one role from both Seema Verma and Tina Verma in this film. So Shilpa Shirodkar had chosen the role of Seema Verma’s opposite Seema Verma.
7) Deepak Tijori once said that he was going to play Robert in this film. But due to Suniel Shetty, he was removed from this film. Then finally the role was played by Siddharth Ray.
पहचान फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म सुनील शेट्टी और सैफ अली खान की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों ने साथ में सुरक्षा, एक था राजा और हमसे बढ़कर कौन फिल्मो में भी काम किया था.
2) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले ” हम उम्र ” रखा गया था. लेकिन बाद में कुछ कारण से इसे बदलकर ” पहचान ” कर दिया गया था.
3) इस फिल्म में सुनील शेट्टी को करण वर्मा के रोल के लिए साइन किया गया था. लेकिन बाद में कुछ कारण से उन्होंने कुणाल वर्मा का रोल निभाया था. जबकि करण वर्मा का रोल सैफ अली खान ने निभाया था.
4) पहचान टाइटल से सन 2000 में भी एक फिल्म बन रही थी. जिसमे नाना पाटेकर, ट्विंकल खन्ना और मिलिंद सोमन नज़र आने वाले थे. लेकिन कुछ कारण से ये फिल्म शेल्वेड हो गयी थी.
5) दीपक शिवदासानी ने टीना वर्मा के रोल का ऑफर कई एक्ट्रेस को दिया था. लेकिन सभी ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. क्योंकि कोई भी बहन का रोल नहीं निभाना चाहता था. फिर अंत में ये रोल मधु ने निभाया था.
6) शिल्पा शिरोडकर को इस फिल्म में सीमा वर्मा और टीना वर्मा दोनों में से एक रोल चुनने का ऑफर मिला था. तो शिल्पा शिरोडकर ने सैफ अली खान के अपोजिट सीमा वर्मा का रोल चुना था.
7) दीपक तिजोरी ने एक बार कहा था की इस फिल्म में वे रोबर्ट का रोल निभाने वाले थे. लेकिन सुनील शेट्टी के कारण उन्हें इस फिल्म से हटा दिया गया था. फिर अंत में ये रोल सिद्धार्थ रे ने निभाया था.
