Plot Synopsis :
In 1965 Tamil Nadu, as anti-Hindi imposition protests intensify, railway worker Chezhiyan stays aloof to protect his family. But when his rebellious younger brother joins the student agitation, Chezhiyan steps in, clashing with a brutal intelligence agent. This ignites his political awakening, leading to a gripping tale of personal sacrifice and defiance amid a historic rebellion.

Some Details & Facts :
Initially, Suriya was supposed to star in this film. It was going to be his second collaboration with director Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Pottru. Suriya had even agreed to do the film. However, the film was initially delayed due to his commitments to Kanguva and the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, titled Sarfira.
Filming was supposed to begin in 2024, but then news came that the film had been shelved. Director Sudha Kongara, however, dismissed this as a rumor. Due to further delays in pre-production, Suriya left the project in 2024, and Sivakarthikeyan was cast in his place.
This film marks Sreeleela’s Kollywood (Tamil) debut.
Vijay Varma was initially supposed to play antagonist in the film before Ravi Mohan, but for some reason, he declined to work in this film.
