Mohabbatein Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The film ran for 25 weeks in theaters and was a silver jubilee hit.
2) Before this film, Amitabh Bachchan’s films started flopping at the box office. Due to which no director and producer were taking him in their films. Amitabh Bachchan was also going through financial problems at that time and he did not even have any film. After which Amitabh Bachchan went to Yash Chopra and asked him to work in the film. Then Yash Chopra signed Amitabh Bachchan in the film Mohabbatein and this film proved to be the turning point for Amitabh Bachchan.
3) Shahrukh Khan signed this film without reading and listening to the script.
4) Ishika’s role was first offered to Karisma Kapoor, while Sanjana’s role was offered to Kajol. But both had refused to work in this film.
5) Sridevi was also going to be seen in this film earlier. She was going to be seen in the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s wife. But for some reason, her role was later removed from the film.
6) The Gurukul shown in this film was set in London.
7) Shahrukh Khan’s name was Raj Aryan in this film. Aryan is their son’s name.
8) Uday Chopra wanted Rinkie Khanna to be cast opposite him. But Yash Chopra refused and decided to take up New Comers.

मोहब्बतें फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म थिएटर में 25 हफ़्तों तक चली थी और सिल्वर जुबली हिट साबित हुयी थी.
2) इस फिल्म से पहले अमिताभ बच्चन की फिल्मे बॉक्स ऑफिस में फ्लॉप होने लगी थी. जिसके कारण कोई भी डायरेक्टर और प्रोडूसर उन्हें अपनी फिल्म्स में नहीं ले रहे थे. अमिताभ बच्चन उस समय फाइनेंसियल प्रॉब्लम से भी गुज़र रहे थे और उनके पास कोई फिल्म भी नहीं थी. जिसके बाद अमिताभ बच्चन यश चोपड़ा के पास गए थे और उनसे फिल्म में काम माँगा था. फिर यश चोपड़ा ने अमिताभ बच्चन को मोहब्बतें फिल्म में साइन किया था और ये फिल्म अमिताभ बच्चन के लिए टर्निंग पॉइंट साबित हुयी थी.
3) शाहरुख़ खान ने इस फिल्म को बिना स्क्रिप्ट पढ़े और सुने ही साइन किया था.
4) इशिका का रोल पहले करिश्मा कपूर को ऑफर हुआ था तो संजना का रोल काजोल को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन दोनों ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
5) इस फिल्म में पहले श्रीदेवी भी नज़र आने वाली थी. वे अमिताभ बच्चन की पत्नी के रोल में नज़र आने वाली थी. लेकिन कुछ कारण से बाद में उनके रोल को ही फिल्म से हटा दिया गया था.
6) इस फिल्म में जो गुरुकुल दिखाया गया था उसका सेट लंदन में बनाया गया था.
7) इस फिल्म में शाहरुख़ खान का नाम राज आर्यन था. आर्यन उनके बेटा का नाम है.

12) ऐश्वर्या राय से पहले मेघा का रोल रानी मुखर्जी को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. क्योंकि वे इस फिल्म में आत्मा का रोल नहीं निभाना चाहती थी.
13) ये फिल्म रितिक रोशन और संजय दत्त की फिल्म मिशन कश्मीर के साथ क्लैश हुयी थी और इस क्लैश में मोहब्बतें फिल्म ने बाज़ी मारी थी.
14) ये फिल्म शाहरुख़ खान की यशराज प्रोडक्शन के साथ में चौथी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले उन्होंने यशराज प्रोडक्शन की डर, दिलवाले दुल्हनिया ले जायेंगे और दिल तो पागल है फिल्म में काम किया था.
