Maine Pyar Kiya Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was the debut film of Salman Khan as a lead actor. Salman Khan’s first film was “Biwi Ho To Aisi” which was released in 1988. While this film was Bhagyashree’s debut film.
2) Bhagyashree had refused to do a kissing scene in this film. He even wore jeans for the first time for this film.
3) Bhagyashree got married in 1990, a few months after the release of this film. Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya also attended their wedding.
4) Rajshri Productions was going through financial problems before the release of this film. Even Rajshree production was on the verge of closure. Then Sooraj Barjatya’s father had the idea to make the film Maine Pyar Kiya. Maine Pyar Kiya proved to be an all time blockbuster at the box office and the film earned huge profits.
5) Marathi actor Laxmikant Berde made his Bollywood debut with this film and he got a lot of recognition after this film.
6) For this film Bhagyashree was given a fee of 1 lakh, while Salman Khan was given a fee of 31 thousand.
7) When this film was released, many people thought that Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are brothers. Then Salman Khan said in an interview that Aamir Khan is not his brother.

9) The film was later dubbed and released in English, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Spanish languages.

13) Mohnish Bahl had a negative role in this film. His mother Nutan did not want her son to play a negative role, Nutan had told Sooraj Barjatya that “you cannot put Mohnish Bahl in another role ? “. Then Sooraj Barjatya assured Nutan that “Mohnish Bahl’s has good role in this film and people will always remember his role”. This film really proved to be the turning point for Mohnish Bahl.
14) All the songs of this film were recorded by Lata Mangeshkar in a single day. The next day she went abroad for a concert.
15) Deepak Tijori had claimed that Sooraj Barjatya had signed him for the lead role in the film before Salman Khan. But later Salman Khan was taken for this film due to his good looks.
16) Barjatya auditioned Shabana Dutt for the lead actress. But she failed in the audition. Then Barjatya had asked Shabana Dutt who should be cast in the role of lead actor for this film, only then Shabana Dutt suggested Salman Khan’s name. Because Salman Khan and Shabana Dutt worked in an ad. Barjatya was not happy with Salman Khan’s first audition. Then later Salman again auditioned, then Barjatya finalized him for the lead role.
17) This film was the debut film of Rajeev Varma. In this film, he played the role of Salman Khan’s father.
18) Vindu Dara Singh and Farhaaz Naaz also auditioned for lead roles in this film. But both were rejected.

मैंने प्यार किया फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म सलमान खान की लीड एक्टर के रूप में डेब्यू फिल्म थी. सलमान खान की पहली फिल्म ” बीवी हो तो ऐसी ” थी जो सन 1988 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी. जबकि ये फिल्म भाग्यश्री की डेब्यू फिल्म थी.
2) भाग्यश्री ने इस फिल्म में किसिंग सीन करने से इंकार कर दिया था. यहाँ तक इस फिल्म के लिए उन्होंने पहली बार जीन्स भी पहना था.
3) इस फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के कुछ महीनो बाद ही सन 1990 में भाग्यश्री ने शादी कर ली थी. उनकी शादी में सलमान खान और सूरज बरजात्या भी गए थे.
4) इस फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने से पहले राजश्री प्रोडक्शन फाइनेंसियल प्रॉब्लम से गुजर रहे थे. यहाँ तक की राजश्री प्रोडक्शन बंद होने के कगार पर भी आ गयी थी. फिर सूरज बरजात्या के पिता ने मैंने प्यार किया फिल्म बनाने का आईडिया था. मैंने प्यार किया बॉक्स ऑफिस में आल टाइम ब्लॉकबस्टर साबित हुयी थी और फिल्म ने बहुत ज्यादा प्रॉफिट कमाए थे.
5) मराठी एक्टर लक्ष्मीकांत बेर्डे ने इस फिल्म से बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू किया था और इस फिल्म के बाद उन्हें काफी पहचान भी मिली थी.
6) इस फिल्म के लिए भाग्यश्री को 1 लाख की फीस दी गयी थी तो सलमान खान को 31 हज़ार की फीस दी गयी थी.
7) जब ये फिल्म रिलीज़ हुयी थी तो कई लोगो को लगता था की सलमान खान और आमिर खान भाई हैं. फिर सलमान खान ने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा था की आमिर खान उनकी भाई नहीं हैं.

12) शादी के बाद भाग्यश्री ने तीन हिंदी फिल्मो में काम किया था और तीनो फिल्मो में उनकी पति हिमालय दसानी भी नज़र आये थे. तीनो फिल्मे सन 1992 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
13) इस फिल्म में मोहनीश बहल का नेगेटिव रोल था. उनकी माँ नूतन नहीं चाहती थी की उनका बेटा नेगेटिव रोल करे नूतन ने सूरज बरजात्या से कहा था क्या की ” मोहनीश बहल को कोई दूसरे रोल में नहीं रख सकते ? “. तब सूरज बरजात्या ने नूतन को भरोसा दिलाते हुए कहा था की ” इस फिल्म में मोहनीश बहल का अच्छा रोल और लोग उनका ये रोल हमेशा याद रखेंगे “. ये फिल्म सच में मोहनीश बहल के लिए टर्निंग पॉइंट साबित हुयी थी.
14) इस फिल्म के सभी गानों को लता मंगेशकर ने एक ही दिन में रिकॉर्ड क्या था. अगले दिन वे कॉन्सर्ट के लिए विदेश गयी थी.
15) दीपक तिजोरी ने ये दावा किया था की सूरज बरजात्या ने सलमान खान से पहले उन्हें इस फिल्म में लीड रोल के लिए साइन किया था. लेकिन बाद में सलमान खान के गुड लुक्स के कारन उन्हें इस फिल्म से हटाकर सलमान खान को लिया था.
16) बरजात्या ने लीड एक्ट्रेस के लिए शबाना दत्त का ऑडिशन लिया था. लेकिन वे ऑडिशन में फ़ैल हो गयी थी. फिर बरजात्या ने शबाना दत्त से कहा था की इस फिल्म के लिए लीड एक्टर के रोल में किसे लिया जाए तभी शबाना दत्त ने सलमान खान का नाम सजेस्ट किया था. क्योंकि सलमान खान और शबाना दत्त ने एक ऐड में काम किया था. बरजात्या सलमान खान के पहले ऑडिशन से खुश नहीं थे. फिर बाद में सलमान ने दोबारा ऑडिशन दिया था तब बरजात्या ने उन्हें लीड रोल के लिए फाइनल किया था.
17) ये फिल्म राजीव वर्मा की डेब्यू फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म में उन्होंने सलमान खान के पिता का रोल निभाया था.
18) विन्दु दारा सिंह और फ़रहाज़ नाज़ ने भी इस फिल्म में लीड रोल के लिए ऑडिशन था. लेकिन दोनों को रिजेक्ट कर दिया गया था.
