Lamhe Movie Unknown Facts :
1) In this film, Sridevi played a double role for the third time. Earlier, she also played double roles in the film Guru and Chaalbaaz.
2) In this film, Pooja i.e. Sridevi and Kunwarji i.e. Anil Kapoor’s love story was shown. That love story was not liked by the audience at that time. This film was an average in India only due to songs. But this film was a super hit in overseas.
3) The title of this film was titled Indian Summer in English.
4) In this film, Yash Chopra first wanted to take Vinod Khanna and he also promised Vinod Khanna to take him in this film. But Yash Chopra later realized that Vinod Khanna would not look at the age of 20. Therefore, he later denied Vinod Khanna. Jackie Shroff also sent his photo without a mustache to Yash Chopra. But still Yash Chopra did not like Jackie Shroff’s look. Then finally he took Anil Kapoor.
5) This film was clash with Ajay Devgan’s film Phool Aur Kaante and in this clash, Ajay Devgan’s film Phool Aur Kaante was won.
6) The role of Siddharth Kumar Bhatnagar was first offered to Sanjay Dutt. But due to being busy with the rest of his films, he refused to work in this film. Then this role was played by Deepak Malhotra.
7) Sridevi’s father died during the London schedule of this film. After which she had to leave shooting and come to India. When she back to shooting after his father’s death, she had shoot a parody song first.
8) This film was the last film of Rahi Masoom Reza in which he wrote his dialogues. He died 4 months after the release of this film.
9) Apart from this film, Sridevi also played a double role of mother and daughter in the 1992 film Khuda Gawah.
10) This film was made long before its time. Due to which the audience of that time rejected the film then. But later the film became a cult classic.
लम्हे फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म में श्रीदेवी ने तीसरी बार डबल रोल निभाया था. इससे पहले उन्होंने गुरु और चालबाज़ फिल्म में भी डबल रोल निभाया था.
2) इस फिल्म में पूजा यानी श्रीदेवी और कुंवरजी यानि अनिल कपूर की जो लव स्टोरी दिखाई गयी थी. वो लव स्टोरी को ऑडियंस ने तब बिलकुल पसंद नहीं किया था. बस गानों के कारण ही ये फिल्म भारत में एवरेज रही थी. लेकिन ओवरसीज में ये फिल्म सुपरहिट रही थी.
3) इस फिल्म का इंग्लिस में टाइटल इंडियन समर रखा गया थे.
4) इस फिल्म में यश चोपड़ा पहले विनोद खन्ना को लेना चाहते थे और उन्होंने विनोद खन्ना को इस फिल्म में लेना का वादा भी किया था. लेकिन यश चोपड़ा को फिर बाद में ये लगा की विनोद खन्ना 20 साल की उम्र में नहीं जमेंगे. इसलिए उन्होंने विनोद खन्ना को बाद में मना कर दिया था. जैकी श्रॉफ ने भी अपनी बिना मूंछ वाली फोटो यश चोपड़ा को भेजी थी. लेकिन फिर भी यश चोपड़ा को जैकी श्रॉफ का लुक कुछ ख़ास पसंद नहीं आया था. फिर अंत में उन्होंने अनिल कपूर को लिया था.
5) ये फिल्म अजय देवगन की फिल्म फूल और कांटे के साथ क्लैश हुयी थी, और इस क्लैश में अजय देवगन की फिल्म फूल और कांटे ने बाजी मारी थी.
6) सिद्धार्थ कुमार भटनागर का रोल पहले संजय दत्त को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन अपनी बाकी फिल्मो में व्यस्त होने के कारण उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. फिर ये रोल दीपक मल्होत्रा ने निभाया था.
7) इस फिल्म की लंदन की शूटिंग के दौरान श्रीदेवी के पिता का निधन हो गया था. जिसके बाद उन्हें शूटिंग छोड़कर भारत आना पड़ा था. उनके पिता के निधन के बाद जब उन्होंने वापस शूटिंग शुरू की तो उन्होंने पैरोडी गाने की शूटिंग सबसे पहले की थी.
8) ये फिल्म राही मासूम रेज़ा की आखरी फिल्म थी जिसमे उन्होंने अपने डॉयलोग्स लिखे थे. इस फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के 4 महीने बाद ही उनकी मौत हो गयी थी.
9) इस फिल्म का अलावा श्रीदेवी ने सन 1992 में आयी फिल्म खुदा गवाह में भी माँ और बेटी का डबल रोल निभाया था.
10) ये फिल्म अपने समय से बहुत पहले बन गयी थी. जिसके कारण उस समय की ऑडियंस ने इस फिल्म को तब रिजेक्ट कर दिया था. लेकिन बाद में यही फिल्म कल्ट क्लासिक बन गयी.
