1) Manisha Koirala had agreed to work in this film. Because she was getting a chance to work with Amitabh Bachchan.
2) Sunil Shetty also had a role in this film. He also shot this film for a few days. But later he left the film due to some reason. After which his role was removed from the film.
3) The film was released after a delay of one year because producer ‘KC Bokadia’ was going through financial problems.
4) Before Shilpa Shetty, her role was offered to Raveena Tandon. But she refused to work in this film.
5) This film was Nirupa Roy’s last film and she played Amitabh Bachchan’s mother for the last time.

1) मनीषा कोइराला इस फिल्म में काम करने के लिए इसलिए तैयार हुयी थी. क्योंकि उन्हें अमिताभ बच्चन के साथ काम करने का मौका मिल रहा था.
2) इस फिल्म में सुनील शेट्टी का भी एक रोल रखा गया था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म की शूटिंग कुछ दिन की भी थी. लेकिन बाद में वे कुछ कारण से फिल्म से हट गए थे. जिसके बाद उनका रोल ही फिल्म से हटा दिया गया था.
3) ये फिल्म एक साल डिले होने के बाद रिलीज़ हुयी थी क्योंकि प्रोडूसर ‘ के सी बोकाड़िया ‘ फाइनेंसियल प्रॉब्लम से गुज़र रहे थे.
4) शिल्पा शेट्टी से पहले उनका रोल रवीना टंडन को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
5) ये फिल्म निरुपा रॉय की आखरी फिल्म थी और आखरी बार उन्होंने अमिताभ बच्चन की माँ का रोल निभाया था.
