1) The film was inspired by the 1982 Hollywood film Annie.
2) Before Jackie Shroff, his role was offered to Amitabh Bachchan. But he refused to work in this film. Shahrukh Khan also signed this film because of Amitabh Bachchan. When he came to know that Amitabh is not in this film, he also wanted to left the film. But Rakesh Roshan had convinced him.
3) Before Anu Aggarwal, his role was offered to Amrita Singh But she refused to act in the film.
4) The film was first to be released in December 1992. But then there were riots due to the demolition of Babri Masjid. So the film was postponed then.
5) Rakesh Roshan wanted to keep the title of this film ‘King’. But the rights to this title were already taken by another producer.
6) When Amitabh Bachchan refused to act in this film. So it was amitabh bachchan who suggest jackie shroff name to Rakesh Roshan.
7) Rakesh Roshan wanted to cast Govinda and Neelam before Shah Rukh Khan and Nagma in this film. But both of them refused to act in this film.

1) ये फिल्म सन 1982 में आयी हॉलीवुड फिल्म एनी से प्रेरित थी.
2) जैकी श्रॉफ से पहले उनका रोल अमिताभ बच्चन को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. शाहरुख़ खान ने भी इस फिल्म को अमिताभ बच्चन के कारण ही साइन किया था. जब उन्हें पता चला की अमिताभ इस फिल्म में नहीं है तो वे भी फिल्म से हटना चाहते थे. लेकिन राकेश रोशन ने उन्हें मना लिया था.
3) अनु अग्रवाल से पहले उनका रोल अमृता सिंह को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
4) ये फिल्म पहले दिसंबर सन 1992 में रिलीज़ होने वाली थी. लेकिन तब बाबरी मस्जिद को धवस्त करने के कारण वहां दंगे हो रहे थे. इसलिए फिल्म को तब पोस्टपोन कर दिया गया था.
5) राकेश रोशन इस फिल्म का टाइटल ‘ किंग ‘ रखना चाहते थे. लेकिन इस टाइटल के राइट्स को पहले ही किसी दूसरे प्रोड्कर ने ले रखा था.
6) जब अमिताभ बच्चन ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. तो उन्होंने ही जैकी श्रॉफ का नाम राकेश रोशन को सजेस्ट किया था.
7) राकेश रोशन इस फिल्म में शाहरुख़ खान और नगमा से पहले गोविंदा और नीलम को लेना चाहते थे. लेकिन दोनों ने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
