1) This film was Neil Nitin Mukesh’s debut film in Kollywood. He did his own dubbing of his voice for this film.
2) This film was Vijay’s second film with director Murugadoss. Earlier, both had worked together in the film Thuppakki which was released in 2012.
3) No smoking or drinking scene was kept in this movie.
4) The remake of this film was later made in Telugu as well. Whose title was Khaidi number 150 and this film was released in the year 2017. Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal were seen in lead roles in this film.

1) ये फिल्म नील नितिन मुकेश की कोलीवूड में डेब्यू फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म के लिए उन्होंने अपनी आवाज़ की डबिंग खुद ही की थी.
2) ये फिल्म विजय की डायरेक्टर मुरुगाडोस के साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों ने साथ में थुप्पक्की फिल्म में काम किया था जो सन 2012 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
3) इस फिल्म में कोई भी स्मोकिंग या ड्रिंकिंग सीन नहीं रखा गया था.
4) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में तेलुगु में भी बनाया गया था. जिसका टाइटल कैदी नंबर 150 था और ये फिल्म सन 2017 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी. इस फिल्म में चिरंजीवी और काजल अग्रवाल लीड रोल में नज़र आये थे.
