Kalki 2898 AD Movie Unknown Facts and Trivia :
1) This film is the most expensive film of Indian cinema till date (2024).
2) Some futuristic vehicles were shown in the film and these vehicles were not made with any CGI. Rather, these vehicles were made in real with the help of technical support of Mahindra company.
3) Amitabh Bachchan suffered a major injury during the shooting of the film. Due to which he had to rest in bed for a long time.
4) In this film, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan worked together after 39 years. Both of them last worked together in the film Geraftaar which was released in 1985.
5) Prabhas played a double role for the third time in this film. He played the role of Bhairav and Karna in the film. Before Kalki, he also played a double role in the Bahubali series and Billa film.
6) The first title of the film was Project K. But later it was changed.
7) Kamal Haasan agreed to work in the film only because Amitabh Bachchan was also in the film. After a long time, he had a chance to work with Amitabh Bachchan, so Kamal Haasan did not want to miss this opportunity.
8) This film was Disha Patani’s second Telugu film. Her first film was Loafer which was released in 2015.
9) This film was the second film of Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan together. Both of them had earlier worked together in the film Geraftaar, which was released in 1985. However, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan did not have any scene together in Kalki.
10) This film was shot in Telugu. Later it was dubbed and released in Hindi as well as Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
11) AR Rahman was first approached as the music composer for this film. But he refused to give music in the film.
12) Earlier this film was going to be released on 9 May 2024. But then some post production work was left. So then it was postponed.

1) ये फिल्म इंडियन सिनेमा की अब तक (2024) की सबसे महंगी फिल्म है.
2) फिल्म में कुछ भविष्य के वाहन दिखाए गए थे और ये वाहन कोई CGI से नहीं बनाये गए थे. बल्कि रियल में इन वाहन को महिंद्रा कंपनी के टेक्निकल सपोर्ट की मदद से बनाये गए थे.
3) फिल्म के शूटिंग के दौरान अमिताभ बच्चन को बहुत बड़ी चोट लगी थी. जिसके कारण उन्हें लम्बे समय तक बेड में ही आराम करना पड़ा था.
4) इस फिल्म में कमल हासन और अमिताभ बच्चन ने साथ में 39 साल बाद साथ काम किया था. दोनों ने साथ में आखरी बार गिरफ्तार फिल्म में काम किया था जो सन 1985 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी .
5) प्रभास ने इस फिल्म में तीसरी बार डबल रोले निभाया था. उन्होंने फिल्म में भैरव और कर्ण का रोल निभाया था. कल्कि से पहले उन्होंने बाहुबली सीरीज और बिल्ला फिल्म में भी डबल रोल निभाया था.
6) फिल्म का सबसे पहले टाइटल प्रोजेक्ट के ( PROJECT K ) रखा गया था. लेकिन बाद में इस बदल दिया गया.
7) कमल हासन फिल्म में काम करने के लिए बस इसलिए राजी हुए थे, क्योंकि फिल्म में अमिताभ बच्चन भी थे. काफी लम्बे समय बाद उन्हें अमिताभ बच्चन के साथ काम करने का मौका था, इसलिए कमल हासन ये मौका नहीं गवाना चाहते थे.
8) ये फिल्म दिशा पाटनी की दूसरी तेलुगु फिल्म थी. उनकी पहली फिल्म लोफर थी जो 2015 में आयी थी.
9) ये फिल्म कमल हासन और अमिताभ बच्चन की साथ दूसरी फिल्म थी. दोनों ने इससे पहले साथ में गिरफ्तार फिल्म में काम किया था, जो सन 1985 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी. हालाँकि कल्कि में अमिताभ बच्चन और कमल हासन का साथ में कोई भी सीन नहीं था.
10) ये फिल्म तेलुगु में शूट हुयी थी. बाद में इसे हिंदी सहित तमिल, कन्नड़ा और मलयालम भाषाओँ में डब कर के रिलीज़ किया गया था.
11) इस फिल्म में म्यूजिक कंपोजर के लिए सबसे पहले ए आर रेहमान को एप्रोच किया गया था. लेकिन उन्होंने फिल्म में म्यूजिक देने से मना कर दिया था.
12) पहले ये फिल्म 9 मई 2024 को रिलीज़ होने वाली थी. लेकिन तब पोस्ट प्रोडक्शन का थोड़ा सा काम बचा था. इसलिए तब इसे पोस्टपोन कर दिया गया था.
13) कमल हासन के फर्स्ट लुक पोस्टर को फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के बाद निकाला गया था.
