1) Amitabh Bachchan’s character in this film was named Yash and this character was inspired by Karan Johar’s father Yash Johar. The date of birth shown of Yash Raichand in this film is that the real date of birth of Yash Johar.

3) This film was the second film of Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kajol together. Earlier, all three were seen in the film “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”. Although Rani Mukerji had just a cameo role in the movie Kabhi Khushi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

1) इस फिल्म में अमिताभ बच्चन के करैक्टर का नाम यश था और ये करैक्टर करण जौहर के पिता यश जौहर से इंस्पायर्ड था. इस फिल्म में यश रायचंद का जो डेट ऑफ़ बर्थ दिखाया गया था वो डेट ऑफ़ बर्थ रियल में यश जौहर का है.
2) ये फिल्म उस समय की सबसे ज्यादा महँगी फिल्म थी.
3) ये फिल्म शाहरुख़ खान, रानी मुखर्जी और काजोल की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले तीनो ” कुछ कुछ होता है ” फिल्म में नज़र आये थे. हालाँकि कभी ख़ुशी ख़ुशी कभी ग़म फिल्म में रानी मुखर्जी का बस कैमियो रोल था.
