1) Rajkumar Kohli made a film with the same title in 2002 with his son Armaan Kohli.
2) Amrish Puri and Raza Murad were the only two actors who were seen in 2002’s Jaani Dushman apart from this Jaani Dushman.
3) The impact of this film was also felt in some villages. People used to get the bride married in a pair of orange color or pink color instead of red color.
4) Sanjeev Kumar played the role of Thakur for the second time in this film. Earlier, he also played the role of Thakur in the film Sholay.
5) The monster costume of this film was later used in Kanti Shah’s film Pyaasa Haiwan.
6) Before Vinod Mehra, the role of a police officer was offered to Dharmendra. But he refused to work in this film.

1) राजकुमार कोहली ने इसी टाइटल से सन 2002 में अपने बेटे अरमान कोहली को लेकर एक फिल्म बनायीं थी.
2) अमरीश पूरी और रज़ा मुराद ही दो ऐसे एक्टर थे जो इस जानी दुश्मन के अलावा सन 2002 में आयी जानी दुश्मन में भी नज़र आये थे.
3) इस फिल्म का असर कुछ गाँव में भी पड़ा था. लोग दुल्हन की शादी लाल रंग के बजाय संतरे रंग या गुलाबी रंग के जोड़े में कराते थे.
4) संजीव कुमार ने इस फिल्म में दूसरी बार ठाकुर का रोल निभाया था. इससे पहले उन्होंने शोले फिल्म में भी ठाकुर का रोल निभाया था.
5) इस फिल्म के मॉन्स्टर वाले कॉस्ट्यूम को बाद में कांति शाह की फिल्म ” प्यासा हैवान ” में इस्तमाल किया गया था.
