Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam Movie Unknown Facts :
1) Aishwarya Rai shook hands with Sanjay Leela Bhansali during the screening of the film Raja Hindustani and told him that “I really liked your work in the film Khamoshi”. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was looking for a lead actress for his film. When he met Aishwarya Rai, he had decided to cast Aishwarya in his film.
2) Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s affair started after this film.
3) The story of this film was based on Maitreyi Devi’s Bengali novel ” Na Hanyate ” in 1974.
4) In this film, Salman Khan talks to his dead father looking at the sky and this idea came to Sanjay Leela Bhansali from his childhood. He used to do the same thing in his childhood.
5) Salman Khan and his stepmother played the role of mother son in this film and this film was also the first film of both of them.
6) The title of this film was earlier kept as “Dil Toh Humne Diya Sanam”. But later it was changed to “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”.
7) Before Aishwarya Rai, her role was offered to Kareena Kapoor. But she refused to work in this film.

1) राजा हिंदुस्तानी फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग के समय ऐश्वर्या राय ने संजय लीला भंसाली से हाथ मिलाया था और उनसे कहा था की ” ख़ामोशी फिल्म में आपका काम मुझे बहुत पसंद आया “. संजय लीला भंसाली को अपनी फिल्म के लिए लीड एक्ट्रेस की तलाश थी. जब वे ऐश्वर्या राय से मिले तब उन्होंने ऐश्वर्या को ही अपनी फिल्म में लेने का फैसला किया था.
2) इस फिल्म के बाद सलमान खान और ऐश्वर्या राय का अफेयर शुरू हुआ था.
3) इस फिल्म की कहानी सन 1974 में आयी मैत्रेयि देवी की बंगाली नावेल ” न हन्यते ” पर बेस्ड थी.
4) इस फिल्म में सलमान खान अपने मरे हुए पिता से आसमान पर देख कर बात करते हैं और ये आईडिया संजय लीला भंसाली को अपने बचपना से आया था. बचपन में वे भी ऐसा ही किया करते थे.
