Geraftaar Movie Unknown Facts :
1) In this film, Amitabh Bachchan was first to do a cameo. But later his role was extended more.
2) This film had Rajinikanth’s cameo role. He played the role of Inspector Hussain, who is Amitabh Bachchan’s friend in the film.
3) This film was the second film of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth together. Prior to this, the two had worked together in the film Andha kanoon, which was released in 1983. After the geraftaar film, both were last seen in the film Hum which was released in 1991.
4) This film was the last sign film of Jeevan. But after this film, another film of his, Kala Dhandha Gore Log was released. But he signed this film before the Geraftaar film. But for some reason this film was released after the Geraftaar film. That is why this film became his last released film.
5) Even in 1980, a film was being made with the Geraftaar title. In which Jeetendra, Sanjeev Kumar and Reena Roy were going to be seen. V.K Sobti was about to direct this film. But for some reason the film was shelved.
6) This film had a good collection in overseas. This film was just a hit in India. But according to the worldwide collection, the film proved to be a super hit at the box office.
गिरफ्तार फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) इस फिल्म में अमिताभ बच्चन पहले बस कैमियो करने वाले थे. लेकिन बाद में उनके रोल को ज्यादा बढ़ा दिया गया था.
2) इस फिल्म में रजिनिकान्त का कैमियो रोल था. उन्होंने इस फिल्म में इंस्पेक्टर हुसैन का रोल निभाया था, जो अमिताभ बच्चन के दोस्त रहते हैं.
3) ये फिल्म अमिताभ बच्चन और रजिनीकान्त की साथ में दूसरी फिल्म थी. इससे पहले दोनों ने साथ में अँधा कानून फिल्म में काम किया था, जो सन 1983 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी. गिरफ्तार फिल्म के बाद दोनों आखरी बार हम फिल्म में नज़र आये थे जो सन 1991 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
4) ये फिल्म जीवन की आखरी साइन की हुयी फिल्म थी. लेकिन इस फिल्म के बाद उनकी एक और फिल्म काला धंधा गोरे लोग रिलीज़ हुयी थी. लेकिन इस फिल्म को उन्होंने गिरफ्तार फिल्म से पहले साइन किया था. लेकिन कुछ कारण से ये फिल्म गिरफ्तार फिल्म के बाद रिलीज़ हुयी थी. इसलिए यही फिल्म उनकी आखरी रिलीज़ हुयी फिल्म बन गयी थी.
5) सन 1980 में भी गिरफ्तार टाइटल से एक फिल्म बन रही थी. जिसमे जीतेन्द्र, संजीव कुमार और रीना रॉय नज़र आने वाली थी. इस फिल्म को वी के सोबती डायरेक्ट करने वाले थे. लेकिन कुछ कारण से ये फिल्म डिब्बा बंद हो गयी थी.
6) इस फिल्म ने ओवरसीज में अच्छा कलेक्शन किया था. भारत में ये फिल्म बस हिट रही थी. लेकिन वर्ल्डवाइड कलेक्शन के हिसाब से ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस में सुपरहिट साबित हुयी थी.
