Gangster Movie Unknown Facts :
1) The role of Shiney Ahuja’s friend in this film was first offered to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. But he refused to act in the film.
2) Director Anurag Basu met Kangana Ranaut at a hotel, and he heard the script to Kangana. The script was very much liked by Kangana Ranaut and she signed this film.
3) This film was Kangana Ranaut’s debut film.
4) The film was first offered to Mallika Sherawat. After the tremendous success of Murder Film, Mallika Sherawat was demanding higher fees for this film. After that she was not cast in this film and Bhatt Camp also banned her from his production house.
5) Irrfan Khan was the first choice for Shiney Ahuja’s role in the film. But for some reason he was not cast in this film.

1) इस फिल्म में शाइनी आहूजा के दोस्त का रोल पहले पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेटर शोएब अख्तर को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
2) डायरेक्टर अनुराग बासु की कंगना रनौत से मुलाकात एक होटल में हुयी थी, और वहीँ उन्होंने कंगना को स्क्रिप्ट सुनाई थी. स्क्रिप्ट कंगना रनौत को बहुत पसंद आयी थी और उन्होंने इस फिल्म के लिए हाँ कर दी थी.
3) ये फिल्म कंगना रनौत की डेब्यू फिल्म थी.
4) इस फिल्म का ऑफर पहले मल्लिका शेरावत को हुआ था. मर्डर फिल्म की ज़बरदस्त सफलता के बाद मल्लिका शेरावत इस फिल्म के लिए ज्यादा फीस की डिमांड कर रही थी. इसलिए फिर उन्हें इस फिल्म में नहीं लिया गया था और भट्ट कैंप ने उन्हें अपनी प्रोडक्शन हाउस से बैन भी कर दिया था.
