1) इस फिल्म का रीमेक बाद में तमिल में भी बनाया गया था. जिसका टाइटल सेट्टई था और ये फिल्म सन 2013 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
2) कुणाल रॉय कपूर से पहले नितिन का रोल खुद आमिर खान निभाने वाले थे. लेकिन वे इस रोल के लिए अपना वजन नहीं बढ़ाना चाहते थे. इसलिए वे इस फिल्म से हट गए थे.
3) वीर दस ने इस फिल्म के लिए 7 बार ऑडिशन दिया था. उसके बाद ही उन्हें फिल्म में लिया गया था.
4) पूरना जगन्नाथन से पहले उनका रोल चित्रांगदा सिंह को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
