Deewana Mastana Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was the first film of Salman Khan and Juhi Chawla together. In which both were seen opposite each other. But Salman Khan just did a cameo in this film.
2) Johnny Lever received the Filmfare Award of Best Comedian for the first time for this film.
3) When this film was launched then its title was Bodyguard and it was an action film. Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol and Zeba Bakhtiar were going to be seen in this film then but for some reason Zeba Bakhtiar left this film. Then David Dhawan changed the script to make it a comedy film. Due to which Sunny Deol left this film. After he left, then David Dhawan offered this film to Shahrukh Khan. But due to lack of dates, he refused to work in this film. Then in the end David Dhawan took Govinda in this film.
4) The title of this film was earlier kept as “Dum Dum Diga Diga”. Then later it was changed to Deewana Mastana.
5) Govinda, Juhi Chawla, Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor also appeared in the film Salaam-e-Ishq, which was released in 2007.
6) Raveena Tandon did a cameo in this film.
7) The original ending of this film was going to be a sad ending. In which Anil Kapoor is arrested by the police and Govinda dies. But later the makers felt that it would not be right to have such a sad ending in a comedy film. That’s why he removed the sad ending from the film.
8) Before Juhi Chawla, her role was offered to Mamta Kulkarni. But she refused to work in this film.
दीवाना मस्ताना फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म सलमान खान और जूही चावला की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. जिसमे दोनों एक दूसरे के अपोजिट नज़र आये थे. लेकिन इस फिल्म में सलमान खान ने बस कैमियो किया था.
2) इस फिल्म के लिए जॉनी लीवर को पहली बार बेस्ट कॉमेडियन का फिल्मफेयर अवार्ड मिला था.
3) जब ये फिल्म लॉन्चेड हुयी थी तब इसका टाइटल बॉडीगार्ड था और ये एक एक्शन फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म में तब अनिल कपूर, सनी देओल और ज़ेबा बख्तिआर नज़र आने वाले थे लेकिन कुछ कारण से ज़ेबा बख्तिआर इस फिल्म से हट गयी थी. फिर डेविड धवन ने स्क्रिप्ट में बदलाव कर के इसे कॉमेडी फिल्म बना दिया था. जिसके कारण फिर सनी देओल इस फिल्म से हट गए थे. उनके हटने के बाद डेविड धवन ने शाहरुख़ खान को ये फिल्म ऑफर की थी. लेकिन डेट्स न होने के कारण उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. फिर अंत में डेविड धवन ने गोविंदा को इस फिल्म में लिया था.
4) इस फिल्म का टाइटल पहले ” दम दम डिगा डिगा ” रखा गया था. फिर बाद में इसे बदलकर दीवाना मस्ताना कर दिया गया था.
5) गोविंदा, जूही चावला, सलमान खान और अनिल कपूर इस फिल्म के अलावा सलाम ए इश्क़ फिल्म में भी नज़र आये थे, जो सन 2007 में रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
6) इस फिल्म में रवीना टंडन ने कैमियो किया था.
7) इस फिल्म की ओरिजिनल एंडिंग एक सैड एंडिंग होने वाली थी. जिसमे अनिल कपूर को पुलिस अरेस्ट कर लेती है और गोविंदा की मौत हो जाती है. लेकिन बाद में मेकर्स को लगा की कॉमेडी फिल्म में ऐसा सैड एंडिंग रखना सही नहीं रहेगा. इसलिए उन्होंने सैड एंडिंग को फिल्म से हटा दिया था.
8) जूही चावला से पहले उनका रोल ममता कुलकर्णी को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
