Deewana Movie Unknown Facts :
1) This film was Shahrukh Khan’s debut film. While his debut film was to be “Dil Aashna Hai”. But this film was delayed for some reason.
2) This film was the first film of Shah Rukh Khan and Divya Bharti together. In the same year, their second film “Dil Aashna Hai” was also released.
3) Shah Rukh Khan once said that he would never see his first and last film. So he has not even seen the movie Deewana yet.
4) Before Shahrukh Khan, his role was offered to Sunny Deol. But he refused to work in this film. Dharmendra met Shahrukh Khan on the sets of the film “Dil Aashna Hai”. Hence it was Dharmendra who recommended the name of Shahrukh Khan to his cousin Guddu Dhanoa.
5) Before Divya Bharti, her role was offered to Madhuri Dixit. But due to lack of dates, she refused to work in this film.
6) Some of the things in the film Deewana and Bol Radha Bol were common. As in both films, Sushma Seth played the role of Rishi Kapoor’s mother. Mohnish Bahl played a negative role in both the films and Alok Nath was also seen in both the films.
7) This film was Raj Kanwar’s directional debut film.
8) When Shah Rukh Khan got the offer of this film. At that time Shahrukh Khan did not understand whether he should sign this film or not. Because he did not see any known name in this film. When Shah Rukh Khan came to know that this film also has Rishi Kapoor, then he signed this film.
9) The makers wanted to change the climax of this film. They wanted Divya Bharti to go back to her first husband Rishi Kapoor in the climax. After which Rishi Kapoor had said that if Divya Bharti comes back to her first husband, then it will be Divya Bharti’s third marriage and Indian audience would not like this climax. Hence the climax of this film was not changed at the behest of Rishi Kapoor.
10) After the release of the film, Shah Rukh Khan was very angry with the producers of this film. Because payment was not given to Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan had said the same thing in his interview for several months.
11) Before Amrish Puri, his role was offered to Raaa Murad . But he refused to act in the film.
12) In this film, Divya Bharti played the role of Rishi Kapoor’s Love Interest. While in real life, she was 22 years younger to Rishi Kapoor.
दीवाना फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) ये फिल्म शाहरुख़ खान की डेब्यू फिल्म थी. जबकि उनकी डेब्यू फिल्म ” दिल आशना है ” होने वाली थी. लेकिन ये फिल्म कुछ कारण से डिले हो गयी थी.
2) ये फिल्म शाहरुख़ खान और दिव्या भारती की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. उसी साल ही दोनों की दूसरी फिल्म ” दिल आशना है ” फिल्म भी रिलीज़ हुयी थी.
3) शाहरुख़ खान ने एक बार कहा था की वे खुद की पहली और आखरी फिल्म कभी नहीं देखेंगे. इसलिए उन्होंने अभी तक दीवाना फिल्म भी नहीं देखा है.
4) शाहरुख़ खान से पहले उनका रोल सनी देओल को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था. धर्मेंद्र की मुलाकात शाहरुख़ खान से ” दिल आशना है ” फिल्म के सेट्स पर हुयी थी. इसलिए धर्मेंद्र ने ही शाहरुख़ खान का नाम अपने कजिन गुड्डू धनोआ को रेकमेंड किया था.
5) दिव्या भारती से पहले उनका रोल माधुरी दीक्षित को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन डेट्स न होने के कारण उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
6) दीवाना और बोल राधा बोल फिल्म में कुछ चीज़े कॉमन थी. जैसे दोनों ही फिल्मो में ऋषि कपूर की माँ का रोल सुषमा सेठ ने निभाया था. दोनों ही फिल्मो में मोहनीश बहल ने नेगेटिव रोल निभाया था और दोनों ही फिल्मो में अलोक नाथ भी नज़र आये थे.
7) ये फिल्म राज कँवर की डायरेक्शनल डेब्यू फिल्म थी.
8) जब शाहरुख़ खान के पास इस फिल्म का ऑफर आया था. तब शाहरुख़ खान को समझ नहीं आ रहा था की ये फिल्म साइन करना चाहिए या नहीं. क्योंकि उन्हें इस फिल्म में कोई भी जाना माना नाम नज़र नहीं आया था. जब शाहरुख़ खान को पता चला की इस फिल्म में ऋषि कपूर भी है तभी उन्होंने ये फिल्म साइन की थी.
9) मेकर्स इस फिल्म के क्लाइमेक्स को चेंज करना चाहते थे. वे चाहते थे की क्लाइमेक्स में दिव्या भारती अपने पहले पति ऋषि कपूर का पास वापस चले जाये. जिसके बाद ऋषि कपूर ने कहा था की अगर दिव्या भारती वापस अपने पहले पति के पास आती है तो ये दिव्या भारती की तीसरी शादी होगी और इंडियन ऑडियंस इस क्लाइमेक्स को पसंद नहीं करेंगे. इसलिए ऋषि कपूर के कहने पर इस फिल्म के क्लाइमेक्स को चेंज नहीं किया गया था.
10) फिल्म के रिलीज़ होने के बाद शाहरुख़ खान इस फिल्म के प्रोडूसर्स से काफी गुस्सा हुए थे. क्योंकि शाहरुख़ खान को उनका पेमेंट नहीं दिया गया था. शाहरुख़ खान ने कई महीनो तक यही बात अपने इंटरव्यू में बताई थी.
11) अमरीश पूरी से पहले उनका रोल राजा मुराद को ऑफर हुआ था. लेकिन उन्होंने इस फिल्म में काम करने से मना कर दिया था.
12) इस फिल्म में दिव्या भारती ने ऋषि कपूर की लव इंटरेस्ट का रोल निभाया था. जबकि रियल लाइफ में तब वे ऋषि कपूर से 22 साल छोटी थी.
