Daud Movie Unknow Facts :
1) Ram Gopal Varma signed Sanjay Dutt in a film in 1994, which he titled as the ” Rakshak “. But this title was already copyrighted, so later he changed the title to Nayak. In this film, Ashwini Bhave was then signed for the lead actress. But later, Ram Gopal Varma removed Ashwini Bhave and took Urmila Matondkar. Because at that time Urmila Matondkar and Ram Gopal Varma had an affair.
Sanjay Dutt shot this film for a few days. But later he had to go to jail due to the Bombay bomb blast case. When Sanjay Dutt came out of jail, Ram Gopal Varma changed the whole story of this film and changed the title and kept ” Daud “.
2) Manoj Bajpayee played a small role in this film. Ram Gopal Varma was very happy to see his acting, so he also took Manoj Bajpayee in his film Satya.

दौड़ फिल्म से जुड़ी कुछ अनसुनी बातें ( Facts in Hindi ) :
1) राम गोपाल वर्मा ने सन 1994 में संजय दत्त को एक फिल्म में साइन किया था जिसका टाइटल उन्होंने रक्षक रखा था. लेकिन ये टाइटल पहले ही कॉपीराइट था इसलिए बाद में उन्होंने टाइटल बदलकर नायक कर दिया था. इस फिल्म में तब अश्विनी भावे को लीड एक्ट्रेस के लिए साइन किया गया था. लेकिन बाद में राम गोपाल वर्मा ने अश्विनी भावे को हटाकर उर्मिला मातोंडकर को लिया था. क्योंकि उस समय उर्मिला मातोंडकर और राम गोपाल वर्मा का अफेयर चल रहा था.
संजय दत्त ने इस फिल्म की शूटिंग कुछ दिन की थी. लेकिन बाद में उन्हें बॉम्बे बम ब्लास्ट केस के चलते जेल जाना पड़ा था. जब संजय दत्त जेल से बहार आये थे तब राम गोपाल वर्मा ने इस फिल्म की पूरी कहानी ही बदल दी थी और टाइटल भी बदलकर दौड़ रख दिया था.
2) इस फिल्म में मनोज बाजपेयी ने छोटा सा रोल निभाया था. उनकी एक्टिंग को देखकर राम गोपाल वर्मा काफी खुश हुए थे इसलिए उन्होंने मनोज बाजपेयी को अपनी फिल्म सत्या में भी लिया था.
3) ये फिल्म संजय दत्त और उर्मिला मातोंडकर की साथ में पहली फिल्म थी. इसके बाद दोनों ने साथ में खूबसूरत फिल्म में काम किया था.
